The M16A1 Colt M603 replica from the CGS Vietnam series is a faithful reproduction of one of the most recognizable rifles used by the US armed forces during the Vietnam War. The M16A1 model was a development of earlier AR-15 designs and in the 1960s became the standard weapon of the US Army, introducing numerous improvements that enhanced the reliability and ergonomics of the firearm. Classic M16A1 construction

The replica design reproduces solutions characteristic of M16A1 rifles, which began to be widely used by US armed forces in the late 1960s. The construction uses a full fence type lower receiver, which was the standard in later variants of the AR-15 platform.

The replica is also equipped with an upper receiver with forward assist, used in constructions produced from around 1967. This solution allowed manual closing of the bolt in emergency situations.

The use of steel components in these key areas significantly increases resistance to wear during intensive use, while also making it a solid base for further modifications and tuning.
