AT-PPK20-FE with optical mosfet [Arcturus]

Arcturus Tactical presents us with a new line of FE replicas that was introduced in 2024. It will fascinate both Russophiles and enthusiasts of equipment from beyond the eastern border. The manufacturer has already presented a version of the Russian submachine gun PP-19 Vityaz, used by special forces and internal security units of the Russian Federation, some time ago. However, keeping up with the times, Arcturus has created its own optical MOSFET version, now presenting a modernized version of the SMG.

Tactical Modernization

AT-PPK20-FE has been equipped with a muzzle brake and a sound suppressor imitation. The bolt cover is equipped with a 22mm picatinny rail for mounting optics. The traditional AK stock has been replaced by a Russian folding polymer version, which has a wide range of length adjustments up to 6 positions and QD mounting points. The pistol grip has also been modified; it is a slightly modified AK12 grip allowing for secure handling of the submachine gun during firing.

Solid Full Metal Construction

Main components such as the chamber, bolt cover, bolt cover latch, fire selector lever, trigger, trigger guard, magazine release, charging handle, stock latch, gas tube, gas block, front sight base, rear sight, and muzzle device, just like in firearms, are made of steel. Smaller parts including the barrel, suppressor, and muzzle device are made of aluminum and lightweight alloys. Everything is well-fitted and corrosion resistant. The pistol grip, magazine, and stock are made of reinforced polymer.

Gearbox with ARCTRUS MOSFET

The FE mechanism is a new reinforced gearbox compatible with Marui system parts and GATE and PERUN ETUs. It features a quick spring change system (without the need to remove and open the gearbox) and the spring guide as well as the piston head are ball bearing supported. The polymer piston has a full steel rack. Steel 18:1 CNC 16 Teeth Short Stroke Sector Gears (approximately 18 rps rate of fire at 11.1V) are mounted on 8mm ball bearings for ease in transferring all the power from the motor to the piston gear, which is mounted on a sliding bearing to withstand the highest loads.

Additionally, the gearbox is equipped with a high-quality optical MOSFET from ARCTURUS with features such as: alternate fire mode, active brake, precocking, ROF adjustment, trigger sensitivity adjustment, progressive trigger, Li-Po alarm significantly facilitating fault location. The mechanism is topped off with a sealed nozzle made of CNC technopolymer which cooperates with a new rotary hop-up chamber for AK, in which a precision 6.03mm inner barrel is mounted. The latest addition is a neodymium 23TPA High Torque motor with high efficiency.
