Amazing AEG for the price.
I use it with an 11.1-volt battery and it's very fast. It shoots very accurately and is a lot of fun to use thanks to its light weight and easy handling. The stock has plenty of room for various types of batteries.
Mine has been customized with a flashlight, red dot, laser, and silencer thanks to the great customization options it offers.
Plus, thanks to the control unit, you can manage burst fire, sensitivity, and more. Highly recommended.

The UTR45 is a great SMG with quick trigger response, high fire rate and easy to use and understand.

It is highly customizable with if you wanna have a foregrip or just a smooth handle.

I personally recommend the UTR45.

Seems like a great value gun that comes with rails, rail covers, ambi mag release and more.

In my first shooting test the gun performed very well on short (10 meters) distance.

I bought a shimming from Taiwangun with it and it runs great.

Consider buying mp5 magazines with adaptor for the UTR as those magazines aee better.

Based on externals, accessories and performance in initial testing I can totally recommend this as a great budget friendly gun for tight CQB environment.

The gun trigger is responsive, spring quick change system is very useful.
The gun came out of the box shooting irregularly, after inspection, the hop up bucking was broken and the lips touching the BB's were barely hanging.

One major flaw of this toy is the lack of sling mount points. BEWARE: If you connect your sling to the stock QD mount, the toy will fall off the stock - the tension spring in the stock is not strong enough to hold the weight of the toy.

I tested this replica this weekend and must say I am really happy with it.
I took it straight out of the box, a small adjustment to the hopup and it was perfect for me.

Incredible replica for the price. Perfect if you want something cheap to start out that still works really well, is compact and easy to transport with the foldable stock and just works right out of the box with an awesome fire control system.

Only downside as I see it is the mags. You can only buy the UTR45 mags from Double Eagle or adaptors for standard MP5 mags.

My First AEG - no regrets at all. With a 7.4V battery and 0.20g BB's, it chronos 1.37J out of the box, later I easily swapped in an SP100 spring to bring it down to 1.17J, perfect for CQB limits (under 1.2J).
Pistol handgrip gives such amzing grip - love it! The lower rail and side rails has a plastic that screws on and adds grip stability — no vertical grip is necessary. Mags click in smoothly, and battery stock is incredibly spacious, easily fits in two batteries.
Falcon system allows burst firing mode, 4-round burst — my go-to config. Planning to mount a flashlight on the included side rail soon. Great design, smooth firing I definitely recommend this one!

bought this to replace my old Umarex UMP45 competion line that broke down afther 11year of use, this UTR feel good in build quality, whit the downgrade for 310fps shoot nice and straight at range of 45/50m whit use of 0.25g bb's. extreme worth for the price what you get, even the complete group of 20 pll i play whit 17 of them where complete suprised whit the feel of UTR45 in preformence wise and look( extreme comformtable grip). my onley - point is little mag wobble but no feed isseu at all. i would recommend if youre new to airsoft and look for budget friendly best for price smg

Bought it as gift. Was shipped fast by TaiwanGun and arrived in time.

Works well with 11V batteries, kinda sluggish on 7.4.

Looks nice when you put a silencer and a red dot on it.

The included extra large mag release is plastic (the one that's installed is metal) and can be a bit of a pain to swap in, had to watch a Youtube video on how to orient the spring. It's also less satisfying to load mags with the plastic one.

Shoots OK-ish stock, but will improve a lot with a Maple Leaf 60 bucking and 6.03 inner barrel.

For the money you get a really good gun. Was actually impressed with it's performance and ended up using this over my upgraded LCT.
Got it with 310 fps spring change and got a pepper with tests and it is extremely consistent.
Read about mag issues but filled the mags with bb's coated in lubricant and left the for a week and no issues at all.

This is an amazing gun good right out of the box did not have to do much good quality and works great and not too expensive and bad quality. I am so happy with this replica was more then expected. If I need a new gun I would check this one out again or the succeser of this one.

I really like this gun!

I recently purchased the M917G tan version. I really like it but there were some minor issues. Firstly the right sided safety is a bit wobbly but it does still lock in place. The gun misfires after about 3-6 shots (which is a lot) but that might be because the original magazine I use isnt played in yet. Overall everything else has been amazing. There is a lot of battery space, its compact, and it can manage a 11,1V 25C battery.

Overall, I am very impressed with this airsoft gun for the price. The build quality is great. It is made from a sturdy polymer which held up well during my airsofting match. It also comes with plenty of accessories which is a nice touch. It is fairly accurate and the FPS is within the range claimed online. It is really nice to have the folding stock option and many accessory mounting points. The operation of the gun is rather intuitive and it runs smoothly with 8.4V NiMH and 11.1V LiPo batteries. I had no problems with operation of the airsoft gun itself.

If you are wondering about the size of the battery compartment, I took some measurements since I was not able to find that information online before purchasing. The battery compartment is in the folding stock and the main part of it is 21x21x136mm which gives you plenty of room to fit a standard brick LiPo battery like the ones recommended by Taiwan gun. There is also a smaller upper compartment in the stock which is slightly smaller at 16x15x120mm. Additionally, if you need some extra room, the stock can be extended to fit much longer batteries and if it is extended all the way out, you can fit the larger NiMH brick batteries. One final note on batteries is that this gun comes with a deans T connector. On the website they say it comes with an adapter; however, this adapter need to be soldered on to your current battery which involves cutting off the mini tamiya connector on your battery and using a soldering iron to attach the included Deans T connector. I was a little bit disappointed about this since it requires you to permanently alter your battery (voiding the warranty) and some basic electronics knowledge. Not to mention that modifying LiPo batteries is incredibly dangerous and should not be done unless you have experience with this sort of thing.

Now on to the real reason why I am giving this replica 4 stars: the magazines. I left a review about the magazines on that product page but I'll mention it here too. This gun is perfect besides the magazines it comes with. Firstly, there is only one option for magazines and I am unable to find them for sale in the US anywhere besides Taiwan Gun and Evike. Additionally, the magazines have a tendency to constantly jam, even when you prepare them by incrementally loading more bbs until the magazine is full and lubricating with silicone oil. Even after preparing the magazines according to the directions, I had constant jamming problems and couldn't get more than 3 shots out at a time. It basically made the gun unusable. I was able to fix this by taking the cleaning rod that comes with the gun and using it to compress/stretch the spring over and over again. After that, most of the magazines worked pretty well with only occasional jamming. Taiwan gun should either mention this on their website or get DE to fix the jamming issue. They must be aware of this problem since they test fire all replicas.

The UTR 45 likes to fire on full auto and is more likely to jam on semi in my experience.

All in all, I am very happy with the build quality, performance, and looks of the UTR45 replica. It performed well for me on the field and is a very compact package which makes it easy to move fast and fire around corners. The only downside is the finicky magazines but this can be fixed by giving them some tender love and care as I described in this review. I would have given the UTR45 a full five stars if it wasn't for those magazines.

I don't think you will be disappointed if you buy this replica. I used to airsoft a lot in my younger days and I bought this to get back into the sport. I am very impressed with it so far and will be using it as my main airsoft gun for a long time. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. Especially considering the very affordable price compared to most other airsoft guns in the same performance bracket.

I bought it for a friend as he didnt want an MP5 .For 155 euros its the best VFM out there .Polymer construction but solid enough to withstand abuse during games.Lightweight like a feather (i m an AK guy) programmable trigger with build in trigger board .V2 compatible parts , easy to upgrade .Spacious battery compartment and foldable stock makes it a nice package .

Come on guys 155 euros is nothing for what that AEG offers !

Its quality is excellent, mostly polimer.
The programmable firemodes are really cool.
It is ideal for a cqb game.
The magazine is bit too long, so they need special magazine pouches though.

This replica is the nicest one I own so far. It has great range and accuracy, I wasn't sure how great the wide bore barrel was going to be but it's awesome. The Falcon control system is really nice and the trigger feels great. The only thing negative that could be said about the utr45 is the lack of magazine options, but I got the Hades mp5 adapter and now can run mp5 hicaps. Some people have said it has limited battery space but I can fit 11.1 1300 mag tricells fine and they provide plenty of power.

Very good replica for the price point. Optical trigger out of the box with very good features. Nice and tight fitment in everything. Nice internals. Shoots.very well out of the box. Just change bucking and barrel and you can reach everyone just like a bigger gun.

great replica for its price. good accuracy really sturdy and great finish! the mosfet is great battery space is generous, it fits lipo 1100mah 11v perfectly with room to spare. the rails are nice, also the handguard its a nice touch. great rof and hop. the ejection port that locks into place is a really great touch for the money. also has a nice metal sound when released. when fired it sounds shimmed right, did not open the gb to verify yet, almost 4000 .25 bb shot with no problems.
not really cons but:
the fire selector it clicks weird, it sounds like some things are really loose on the inside, works perfectly but has weird sound.
the motor heats fast, its not burning or smelling bad but can become hot hot.
the mags have a weird shape: 4x3x25 cm, i have a hard time finding mag pouches, resorted to cary them in my dump pouch. also theres a little wobble when inserted.
the folded stock doesnt really stay in place when folded, the hinge is really soft, so the qd conection on the stock is useless if playing with folded stock in cqb. also the locking in place of the stock is not really strong, if dropped on sling it skips 1-3 stops.
overall im really happy with my buy, its a great replica for 150e and it looks really nice with tracer and optics. that smooth, light, long shape, i love it! DE outdone themselves again, great job!

The best gun for this price, out of the box very good and i love it. No mods needed and the mosfet is perfekt.
Recomend for beginners and every other airsoft player.

This gun is worth every penny as it performs far beyond its stated price in comparison to many reputable companies on the market today. In short I really recommend this for starter and for airsoft enthusiasts.
1. Great all polymer construction and it beats man polymer construction with competing companies
2. The mosfet is surprisingly really well made and easy to use. The binary trigger is also shockingly good.
3. Amazing trigger response for semi auto as It can keep up with pistol caliber carbines like G&G Arp 9 and many other ages from high 100 - low 200's.
4. Part interchangeability will not be difficult for anyone who works in their airsoft guns.
5. The size of the utr 45 is the perfect length for cqb and all the additional rail pannels/covers are all a part of the kit which is amazing. Just keep in mind this based off a .45 smg with a big ol mag so you will need a decent sized smg magazine pouch.

A great replica! Looks good and solid for a non metal BB gun. Gearbox runs superb without a upgrade/reshimming. The programmable mosfet for trigger and fire mode is also a nice extra. Shoots very constant in fps en de BB groupings on 20 meters impresses me very well.
