[Set] CM.057S SVDS Airsoft AEG Sniper Rifle [CYMA] + 4x24 PSO-1 Type Scope for SVD/SVU [S&T]

Pros: Crisp view, illumination works flawlessly, scope is really stable on the cm057 svd, offset is bearable, construction is sturdy.

Cons: elevation and windage turret does not function at all, probably the leaf spring inside is stuck or the gears are off. For airsoft its managable however for 120+ eur you would expect it to function.

The mounting lever is very poorly welded on and snapped off while trying to mount it to the replica.

Also it does not fit on a Cyma Vintorez CM.099 replica. The ilumination bulb housing is too low and it hits the dust cover of the replica. But you can unscrew the ilumination bulb housing and get it to fit that way but you will loose the ilumination. Overall, expensive and poorly built.

Even after a few months of using this majestic piece, CM.057S is still serving me really good, especially considering I haven't changed any internals at all. The external build quality is absolutely on-par with other high-end replicas I have laid my hands on, in many places even better, especially considering the price. Close to no wobble, the only place wobbling here is the stock and that can be easily fixed(with duct tape for example). The folding stock and a shorter barrel(comparing to regular SVD) is absolutely a life-saver, making it much easier to transport - saving a lot of space in gun cases and car trunks. This makes even storing much easier, as you can just fold it up and place it standing upwards.
The internals are quite good, of course not the best, but an absolute bargain for the price. With a good enough scope, you can definetely make some great shots even right out of the box. The hop-up adjustment is quite stiff which makes the adjustment more precise which is important considering this is a DMR type rifle.
If you change some of the internals this rifle can definetely serve you a lifetime, especially if you treat her right.

The zero wont be useful but you can still effectively use this optic beyond 30m.
To fit on my cyma SVD was a nightmare, a lot of banging with a mallet. Feels solid though.
Only the scope hood could be a little tighter because it rattles and goes out of position easily.

This is a great gun for the money. The build is sturdy, there's no wobbling, or looseness. The battery compartment in the handguard is nice and roomy, and the dovetail on the side of the receiver is solid, and allows both AK and SVD style sight mounts. It's very accurate, and the hop up is super easy to adjust, as are the sights if you have standard AK style sight tools or a cleaning kit. This rifle compliments my Soviet era loadout nicely!

Aint much to say. It works. It fits well on both E&L and Cyma AK platforms, you just need to adjust the screw for the locking mechanism for the particular optics mount as the exact dimensions differ between manufacturers. Easily done.

It came with two batteries.

The scope is mounted off center so you need to either zero it straight ahead and remember you need to aim slightly to the left of your target, or zero it for a set distance and estimate wether the bb will fly left, right or center depending on how far from your distance the target is.

Super happy with the replica, big thumb up for previous review of Filip & Asbjorn, QCS love it, I own earlier version of Cyma SVD and SVU with standard gearbox, installing a stiffer spring was not easy, but with this QCS gearbox, absolutely loving it.
I had a problem with the hop up dial, it was dull/stiff/blockish, dissemble the unit and sandpaper some surface, works like a charm now :D My recommendation is atleast change the oring of the piston head, original one doesn’t work well (Too thick like previous review said) & get a nozzle(17mm) with oring. The stock is a bit wobbly, put little rubber behind the lock will do the job.
Big applaud to Cyma, finally making some upgrade parts for SVD line like gearbox, piston, cylinderhead etc.

A surprisingly cool replica for the money.
External build quality is nice and adequate, the whole assembly system is well thought out(RS clone) and pleasant to work on.
The newest internals are pretty nice - QCS(great!), steel rack piston, aluminium piston head and cylinder head. Piston head oring was too thick, porting didn't work and had to replace it for better results. Stock nozzle is without an oring, but had surprisingly good consistency and no power loss compared to a FPS softair replacement.
Inner barrel is still slightly too long, but it's manageable. Cheekrest is a bit tall for use with iron sights.
Stock it was shooting ~1.6J out of the box, not 1,8 but it's within norm, I guess.

The quality of the internals really surprised me! I was ready to upgrade almost everything, but the only thing I will be upgrading in the gearbox is the nozzle (it's plastic and without O-rings). The piston, piston head and cylinder head really surprised me, they look like they're high quality. The piston also had full steel teeth, not just the two steel teeth advertised in the description.
The gearbox has quick change for the spring, it is the easiest spring change I have ever done in my life. Just pop the top cover off, and the spring guide is right there. Push it a bit, twist it and the spring comes out. It doesn't require much force, but still feels solid, so it won't come out unless you want it to.

The externals are nice, don't feel too cheap but not top notch either. But for the price you really can't complain too much. You can get at least five of these rifles for the price of the new one from LCT, so this is far better value.

Overall I think this is probably the best value I have ever gotten from a replica!

If you want an SVD look no further than the SVD-S as it saves you from having to upgrade the air pressure to a point where you get no negative pull in the 690 MM barrel as the SVD-S has a more comfortable 590 MM barrel. It is also easier to store for people with limited space. Now if you just want a DMR and do not care for the model look for something else. SVD AEG's are hard to upgrade and their parts are spare. You will also obviously have a harder time mounting attachments that you might want. But again if you are looking to 100% buy an SVD AEG go for it its pretty good. Marking it as a 4 star here due to me having issues with the cables of the replica sent to me to the point where it did not shoot on arrival.

This model of pso-1 is perfect for svd replicas, easy to install and use, the reticle is easy to see and the eye relief is perfect, the reticle iluminator is on point, the only downside is the windage dial, on my cyma svd the windage is set at maximum to the right and it still not in line with the bb trajectory.

Awesome scope! Has illumination which can be turned on by a small switch which looks very retro. Reticule looks fine and keeps focus.

The box also looks very nice and is packed securely. Can also be used for storage if needed.

The eyecup which comes with the product does not fit easily. The Rubber Optoc Cover Mod2 from this website fits alot better.

BE WARNED, this does NOT fit your AK without modification. It will also scratch the dust cover of AK's because its made for SVDs. Heating up the brass/gold looking pin and prying it out makes sure it fits on your AK. The clamp also has to be adjusted before it fits, this is shown in the manual.

All by all, a good product to make your SVD or AK platform look more retro and have a cool period correct optic.
