      Hi. I bought this replica couple of days ago. First impression is great. It doesn't bend or or move. It's firm and a quality product on the outside. When I teste it, I found that the bbs are not consistent and the motor was heating up. I took out the hopup assembly and the bucking needs to be replaced. One thing I saw it has a connector for a Cyma tracer hopup unit and i think it's a great feature. Now to the overheating. The shimming was spot on and i was very please with it 0.10mm play on the gears. The problem was the spur gear, it was bent. I don't know why, but I think it's poor quality. I changed the gar, reshimed the gearbox, put a full cilinder in and a alu nozzle and it works great. I know I voided the waranty, but I don't care, I bought it for a dmr build and i think it's a solid platform. It could be also used out of the box, but I think the gears would fail evetualy. For this price it's a solid gun.

The REC10 replica is based on the well-known BARRETT REC10 rifle, adopted by the Israeli Defense Forces in 2020, initially for special forces as a modern replacement for the SR-25. It proved itself again in 2023 operations, receiving high marks and prompting plans for wider deployment.

EMG's version combines solid craftsmanship, modern internals, and readiness for DMR-style upgrades. The nylon body and front keep the weight at 2.6 kg, offering great mobility despite the size.

Reliable internals and Kestrel V2 Basic MOSFET

At the heart is the V2 LONG gearbox with Kestrel V2 Basic MOSFET, ensuring smooth operation, trigger protection, and tuning options. The pneumatic system uses silent aluminum heads and a steel SR25/V2LONG cylinder for high compression and shot consistency. Supported by a durable piston with metal rack and a High Torque motor, it offers snappy trigger response.

A standard 6.03 mm AEG brass barrel (420 mm) with a rotary-style plastic HU chamber ensures precision. Out of the box, the replica fires at ~390 fps with a ROF of 16. The quick spring change system allows easy adjustment to field limits. Features include a 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel and battery storage in the SF stock tube with a T-Connector.
