The CM.098A GEN-2 rifle replica from CYMA Platinum is an electric AEG equipped with a V2 long gearbox and configured for semi-automatic fire. The model combines a GEN-2 gearbox, a metal construction with an M-LOK handguard, and a Kestrel V2 electronic system, creating a configuration intended for precise shooting at medium and longer ranges.

Construction and design

The replica is made of metal and features a polymer stock and pistol grip. An individual serial number is located on the lower receiver.

The aluminium M-LOK handguard allows compatible accessories to be installed. An upper RIS rail provides mounting space for optics and additional accessories.

The replica is equipped with polymer iron sights. A 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel allows a muzzle device using this standard to be installed.

Ergonomics and handling

Internal parts and mechanics

Electronic system

The replica uses a Kestrel V2 electronic system designed to operate with the extended V2 long gearbox. The electronic system controls the mechanism and supports a faster trigger response.
