The REC10 replica is based on the well-known BARRETT REC10 carbine, which the Israeli Armed Forces began introducing in 2020, initially for special forces as a modern alternative to the SR-25. It was also used in operations during 2023 and gained positive feedback, leading to plans for wider deployment in regular units.

The REC10 by EMG combines solid construction, modern technical features, and readiness for upgrades toward a classic DMR role. The entire body and front are made of durable nylon, bringing the weight to 2.6 kg, making the replica mobile despite its size.

Reliable internals and Kestrel V2 Basic MOSFET

At the heart of the replica is a V2 LONG gearbox equipped with the Kestrel V2 Basic MOSFET, providing smooth operation, contact protection, and upgrade potential.
The pneumatic system features silent aluminum heads and a steel SR25/V2LONG cylinder for high compression and shot consistency. A strong piston with a metal rack and a High Torque motor enhance trigger response.

A standard brass AEG 6.03 mm inner barrel (420 mm) with a plastic rotary hop-up chamber ensures precise BB guidance. The replica reaches a ROF of 16 and a stock muzzle velocity of about 390 fps. Quick spring change allows easy adjustment for game limits. A 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel and space for the battery in the SF stock guide with a T-Connector.
