What is ASG?

Air Soft Gun, ASG is a team game that consists in imitating playing hostilities or tactical actions. Spring, electric or gas weapon ?

In the market you can buy many models of ASG replicas. Deciding on which one to choose, very important is, the type of power. It could be spring electric or gas powered. 

Spring type is the most basic. It operates using compressed air in a cylinder located in the lock. Before each shot you have to reload (stretch the spring). Therefore, it is a time-consuming mechanism, and that's why it is usually used in sniper rifles that are used to fire from a distance from hidden positions.

Electric power (AEG) operates using gearbox mechanism. When the trigger is pressed, the electric motor starts, thanks to which the gear transmission stretches the spring. After when it is suddenly released, the piston blows air into the barrel quickly. As a result of these actions, the compressed air in the cylinder fires the ball.  The electric ASG rifle allows you to shoot single or continuous fire. It's perfect for games in winter. This weapon is easy to handle and load, so it is suitable for beginners.

Gas powered weapons (GBB)  operate using closed and compressed gas. When the trigger is pressed, a valve opens, releasing gas to fire a ball. Part of the substance is also responsible for the movement of the bolt, so there is no need to recharge each time. Replicas use two gaseous substances: CO2 or Green Gas. They work similarly, although CO2 guarantees a higher muzzle velocity, and Green Gas magazines are more convenient and faster to load with gas. Gas replicas, similarly to electric ones, allow you to choose the fire mode between semi-automatic and automatic. However, they are less repeatable than electric rifles, so they are recommended for more advanced players.
