      Mounting the battery could be challenging and slow especially when you are in a fight.


      (I ordered 2 pcs and on came with a badly mounted battery plug...maybe just bad luck)

      All that said I would recommend the gun, it is really simple to use , so it is ideal for begginners.

JG 608 TAN by J.G. Works is a compact AEG replica reproducing a German rifle platform in a short handguard configuration. The model is based on the v3 gearbox standard, ensuring compatibility with commonly available service and upgrade parts.

Construction and ergonomics

The receiver is made of ABS polymer replicating the construction of the original firearm. Components are precisely fitted, providing a consistent and solid structure. The replica features a side-folding stock, making transport and operation in confined spaces easier. A dual-sided fire selector and dual-sided magazine release allow comfortable handling for both right- and left-handed users. The battery is housed inside the front handguard. A long 22 mm Picatinny rail is mounted on the top of the receiver, allowing installation of a red dot sight. The flash hider is mounted on a 14 mm CCW thread.

The replica features an individual serial number.

Internal mechanism

The core of the replica is a v3 gearbox. The model features a quick spring change system, allowing spring replacement without removing the gearbox from the receiver. The construction remains compatible with parts dedicated to v3 gearbox-based replicas.
