Construction and design

The CM.048M GEN-2 replica reproduces the classic silhouette of the AKM rifle, featuring a fixed stock and traditional wooden furniture.

The receiver, receiver cover, flash hider, and gas tube are made of steel. Other external components, including the outer barrel, sights, front sight base, side mounting rail, and handguard retainer, are made of metal.

The stock and handguard are made of laminated wood, emphasizing the classic appearance of the AKM platform. The pistol grip is made of durable nylon.

The fit of the components supports structural rigidity during use. The replica also features an individual serial number.

Internal components and mechanics

The replica features a V3 gearbox equipped with 8 mm ball bearings. The internal configuration includes a piston with a metal tooth rack and a short-type high-torque motor with neodymium magnets, supporting responsive trigger operation.

The pneumatic system uses a Type 0 cylinder and a 19.60 mm polymer nozzle. The metal spring guide with bearings supports proper mechanical operation during the firing cycle.

The gearbox also features a Quick Spring Change (QSC) system, allowing the main spring to be replaced without opening the gearbox shell.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect connector and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries.
