CM.048M, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.048M GEN-2 by CYMA is an AKM-inspired replica built around a steel construction and an upgraded V3 gearbox. The new generation introduces a CYMA V3 MOSFET, QSC quick spring change system, and a short hi-torque neodymium motor, supporting faster trigger response and smoother replica operation.

Construction and design

The model replicates the classic AKM rifle configuration with wooden handguards and a fixed stock. The construction combines steel, wood, and metal components, providing high rigidity and a realistic feel.

The receiver, dust cover, flash hider, and gas tube are made of steel. Other external elements, including the outer barrel, iron sights, front sight base, side rail, and handguard retainer are made of metal. The pistol grip is made from durable nylon.

The stock and handguard are made from high-quality laminated wood, giving the replica the classic AK platform appearance while supporting a stable grip during use.

All construction elements are very well fitted together, and the replica features an individual serial number.

Internal parts and mechanics

The heart of the replica is a V3 gearbox equipped with a QSC quick spring change system, allowing easier adjustment of the setup for different gameplay scenarios.

Inside, the replica features 8 mm ball bearings and a piston with a metal tooth rack, supporting system durability during intensive use.

The short hi-torque motor with neodymium magnets ensures efficient mechanism operation and faster trigger response.

The pneumatic system uses a type 0 cylinder and a polymer nozzle with a length of 19.60 mm. A metal spring guide with bearings supports smooth gearbox operation.

Electronic system

The GEN-2 version is equipped with a CYMA V3 MOSFET, supporting the electrical system and improving replica responsiveness during firing.

The replica reaches approximately 390 FPS in factory configuration and offers a rate of fire of approximately 20 RPS.

Performance and precision

The model uses a brass inner barrel with a length of 500 mm and a diameter of 6.04 mm. The long barrel supports BB flight path stability and shot repeatability at medium range.

The metal hop-up chamber allows precise BB trajectory adjustment.

At the end of the outer barrel there is a 14 mm CCW thread for mounting compatible muzzle devices or suppressors.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect plug. The battery is stored inside the stock.

The model is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries.
