CM.045, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.045 GEN 2 airsoft replica by CYMA is a compact AEG rifle based on the AKS-74U design, intended for dynamic airsoft games, including CQB. The model combines a metal construction with a folding stock, a V3 gearbox with a Quick Spring Change (QSC) system, and a CYMA V3 MOSFET, supporting electrical system operation and trigger response.

Construction and design

The CM.045 GEN 2 replica retains the distinctive silhouette of the AKS-74U, characterized by the compact design of the AK platform.

Its compact dimensions make the replica easier to handle in confined spaces, supporting quick position changes and movement during dynamic CQB games.

The metal side-folding stock allows the overall length of the replica to be reduced, making transportation and maneuvering in confined spaces easier.

Materials and construction

The receiver and key structural components are made of metal. The construction also incorporates durable polymer components, combining the rigidity of the main structural elements with comfortable handling.

The replica features an individual serial number. Solid component fitment supports structural stability during intensive use.

Internal components and mechanics

The replica features a V3 gearbox equipped with 8 mm ball bearings. The internal configuration includes a piston with a full metal tooth rack and a short-type high-torque motor with neodymium magnets, supporting responsive trigger operation.

The Type 1 cylinder supports the operation of the pneumatic system in combination with the installed inner barrel.

The gearbox also features a Quick Spring Change (QSC) system, allowing the main spring to be replaced without opening the gearbox shell.
To access the QSC system, the gearbox must first be removed from the replica's receiver. Once removed, the spring can be replaced without disassembling the gearbox, making it easier to adjust the replica's power configuration to meet the requirements of different airsoft games.

Electronic system

The CM.045 GEN 2 features a CYMA V3 MOSFET, responsible for controlling the operation of the replica's electrical system.

The MOSFET supports smooth electrical system operation and trigger response during firing.

Performance and accuracy

The model features a 300 mm inner barrel with a diameter of 6.05 mm, supporting shot-to-shot consistency.

The replica uses an AK-type hop-up chamber with slider adjustment. The mechanism allows the user to adjust BB backspin and trajectory according to shooting conditions.

The compact design makes the rifle easier to handle at short distances, particularly during CQB games.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect connector and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries.

The battery is housed under the receiver cover.
