      I want to add to my older review now that I owned this for quite some time.

      I changed the inner barrel to a 6.03, 230 mm inner barrel. I also put a Maple Leaf Macaron 60 degree/yellow and an omega nub in it. The gearbox has QC for the spring.

      At 1.1 joules I am able to achieve real effective range of 50 meters, 9/10 shots hitting a human size silhouette target using 0.28 BBs.

      The motor is a V3 one so if you want to change the basic motor you could also do that but be aware of possible increased wear on the piston, I put a 40k Ultimate neodym motor in mine and it works fine using a 7.4 lipo with good trigger response. The gearbox itself looks similar to a V6 like in a P90 but the linkage goes to the rear instead, Trigger feel is still good, not like the typical P90/AUG triggers.

      With that said it is possible to make this perform well for casual to semi-competitive woodland games. I love mine.

      Rate of fire is indeed a bit slower than the average AEG, I used a 7.4 volt lipo.
      But I kinda like it, makes me smile.
      Magazine feeds well so far using full auto.
      Trigger response on semi with 7.4 lipo feels like using a 8.4 NiMH so it isnt bad or anything.

      To be honest I bought it primary to be a wallhanger, but I will give it a try in CQB at some point cause even if its a lot of gun to handle, I still feel like there are even bulkier designs out there.

      Get it if you really like the replica and plan to field it casually for fun. Competitive play is not its strong side, but it is fun to shoot nonetheless.

      Everything seems to fit firmly together so quality for its price is good in my books.

It has a heavy weight, for an SMG, but its not problem for me, feels more realistic. Internally its medium rate gun. The rate of fire is slow with 7,4V LiPo. The trigger response is slow too. The accuracy out of box is medium, but tends to be good.

The SW-021 by Snow Wolf is the SMG replica of the MP18. The MP18 was designed by a well know German firearm manufacture in 1915 and is known around the world as the first sub-machine gun to be used in combat, it has been seen in hands of the German Sturmtruppen during World War I. After this period some modifications has been added and the MP28 was born. The MP18 SMG can be considered as a base of every open simple blowback SMG of the 20th century, for example, the Sten, Lanchester, MP40, PPsH 41.

An authentic airsoft rifle

Starting from the front of the rifle we can find an 8-inch aluminum outer barrel equipped with steel headshields, the bolt receiver is in steel too. These features give a more realistic look to the SW-021. The magazine port is made of aluminum with a release button on the top, this look is completed by a magnificent one-piece varnished wooden stock. On the airsoft rifle, we can find two hooks for sling attachment one located on the front of the barrel and the second on the stock, which give the possibility to use a sling in classic "infantry" style positioning. Technical improvement

The hop-up rotary system is located under the bolt, access is possible by arming the bolt back.
