Very good performance, 522FPS with 0.2 bbs. Solid replica, came with 3 mags (description mentions 1 tho) and a speed loader. Easy to pull the handle, but still powerful. Only downside is that the trigger is very wobbley. Moves too much, i will take it apart and take a look at it. I recommend this gun to everyone, it’s a vsr-10 compatible gun, lot of aftermarket parts to choose from.
4 days shipping, good customer service as always, keep it up Taiwangun! Have a good one -

The CYMA CM.701 is an amazing starter sniper rifle, especially for the price. Out of the box, it’s solidly built with a sturdy bolt action and decent power. What really makes it shine is the huge upgrade potential — it’s fully VSR-10 compatible, so you can easily swap in better barrels, hop-up units, and triggers to make it competition-ready.
For under $100, you’re getting a reliable rifle that’s perfect for beginners or experienced players looking for a modding project. Highly recommended if you want great performance on a budget and a strong base to build from! -

IMO the best bang for the buck, especially on sale; and it doesn't take much to turn it into a laser. But let's go over the externals first.
The wood imitation is great, doesnt have that cheap plastic feel, isn't glossy, it's actually really well made. The outer barrel is some kind of metal (most probably steel), along with the receiver, coated with a black matt paint. The barrel is threaded although i just cannot get the end cap to come off, it's glued shut, pretty sure i could get it open if i tried hard enough, BUT, even if you do, you need an adapter to mount your standard CCW 14mm thread muzzle devices, luckily Taiwangun also sells one so you can get it along with the rifle. The charging handle is not as well made tho, not like it's gonna crack or something but it's very wobbly, personally, i dont mind that much, but i know some people will so i thought i should point it out.
Now for the internals, the trigger is great, very light and snappy, everything you would expect from a 90° trigger really. The rest, isn't perfect, but there are some easy fixes. The cylinder is very loose inside the outer barrel, so it scratches against the walls making the bolt pull very rough.
Fix: get a piece of a plastic notebook cover or a PLA plate, cut it to fit the inner barrel part where the piston slides in without standing out the back, beware not to cover up the hole that feeds the BBs into the chamber; use some PTFE grease and that should do it. You can also look up some other tutorials for smooth bolt pull on YouTube.
The pneumatics... there is some compression but they leave much to be desired.
Fix: Screw off the cylinder head, apply teflon tape to the thread, before putting it back in place, take out the piston, cut a piece of electric or teflon tape, roll it up to fit the groove where the O-Ring goes on the piston, put the O-Ring back in place, apply some silicone grease and test if it fits into the cylinder. If it doesn't, get a smaller piece of tape, test and repeat until it goes in with some resistance, but not enough to rip the O-Ring. Even after that, it doesn't seal 100% but it's definitely better than it was stock.
Precision components, the barrel, chamber and bucking are okay. 0.40g BBs are the heaviest i managed to lift. Stock, it shot at around 2.1 Joule (measured with 0.40g BLS) and i could hit a human torso at about 50-60 meters with some inconsistencies.
Fix: Maple Leaf 430mm 6.02 inner barrel, Maple Leaf VSR10 chamber and Maple Leaf 70° Autobot. Total cost comes at around $50 (all available on this site).
All those upgrades gave me fairly consistent 2.5 Joules and range of 70+ meters (0.40g BLS). I'm not sure about the maximum range since i fired at a torso sized target at those 70m and the BBs were still flying straight :)
To sum things up; it's an okay rifle out of the box, with really well made externals and tons of potential for upgrades.
Overall, very satisfied with the gun :) -

I chose the wood color. The barrel is plastic, but the imitation of wood is a real eye-catcher. It's a beautiful sniper rifle. It doesn't creak or crack. If you want to put a carrying strap on it, you'll need a converter. The holes in the factory mounting points are tiny, so it's not suitable for a high-quality carabiner. You get two extra springs in the box. I can't wait to put the scope on it and see how it shoots. Double Bell has a similar vsr-10 replica with real wood for a little more money. However, there are hardly any accessories for it. Cyma's tuning options are almost unlimited, so I chose this one.

Really good sniper rifle! The only problem I had with it is the magazine release button is made out of cheap plastic and it broke, making it difficult, but not impossible to remove. Overall, the range and FPS are unmatched at this price with 0.4g bbs.

This was my first sniper rifle, and it has pleasantly surprised me. It has a really good look, and feels like the real thing. Good weigt, its not a light weight rifle. The polymer handle really looks like wood also. The rest off the rifle is made of metal. In combination with a scope you can get pretty accurate shots. It also has an adjustable hop up lever thats easy accessible from the left side of the rifle
One thing you should look out for,is that you pull the lever to load the bibi firmly in one go. If you don't use enough pulling power, and release it before it tensioned the spring,it loads the bibi already, but it won't fire obviously. So you automatically do it again, but then you load a second bibi, and may potentially clog the barrel. But that's not a rifle error, but a human error. So make sure to firmly pull it. If you do clog it,there is a usefully tool in the box to clear the barrel from stuck bibi's. In the box you find 3 magazines. These are plastic, but does work pretty well, and sits flush in the rifle. It won't stick out from under it what I realy like. To release it simply press a button. You also recieve 2 extra spring to adjust the fps, this is realy a nice option as well. This rifle for the money is realy good in my opinion, and you won't regret buying it. Delivery is on point as well. Packed well, and they keep you updated all the way to your doorstep. -

This is a very nice nice sniper replica. Most people go for the black one instead. It is always sold out. But i really like the brown one. Gives a different touch to it. The accuracy and precision on this thing is insanely good for the price. Thank you Taiwangun!

9/10.
Out of the box gives 3,1 J while still very easy to operate. Easy 80 m gun, possibly 100 with proper flat hop. Internal trigger mechanism is steel, piston however aluminium using 45° system. Piston will eventually wear out but I would suggest swapping for steel only in case of breakage.
Holding it gives you surprisingly solid feel.
Excellent value. -

The CYMA CM.701C-U is a bolt-action airsoft sniper rifle, modeled after the American M700 and its military versions, the M40. Based on the TM VSR-10 system, it offers precision, reliability, and ease of modification. This is an excellent choice for experienced airsoft players, providing a realistic appearance and high power.
Quality and Functionality
The rifle features metal components such as the barrel, bolt, cocking handle, and trigger mechanism. The stock is made of reinforced polymer, ensuring resistance to damage. It also includes a Picatinny rail, allowing for easy attachment of optics, greatly improving accuracy at longer distances. Additionally, it has bipod or sling mounting points, enhancing user comfort. Thanks to its solid construction, the rifle is stable and comfortable for prolonged shooting.Reinforced Internal Parts
The replica comes with a steel cylinder and brass piston head, ensuring airtightness and durability even with high-powered springs. The aluminum piston with a rubber head minimizes vibrations, providing quiet and smooth operation. The piston and spring guide are made from durable materials to prevent damage, and the bearing in the spring guide ensures smooth cocking. With a power level of 520fps, the rifle excels at longer ranges.Modified Trigger System
The trigger group has been optimized with a 90-degree piston catch, significantly improving its durability and compatibility with powerful springs. This modification ensures smoother and more efficient cocking while extending the lifespan of the mechanism.Hop-up Adjustment
The hop-up system allows for precise tuning of the BB's trajectory, improving accuracy and range. With the hop-up switch positioned on the left side of the barrel, adjustment is quick and easy, enabling on-the-fly tuning without the need to set the rifle down.Included in the package:
- Airsoft sniper rifle
- 50rd magazine
- Speedloader for magazine
