      For a long time, I was searching for a quality Eastern-style scope that closely resembles the original. After considering various options and reading numerous reviews, I decided to try the Victoptics SVD 3–9x24 FFP scope by Vector Optics, a brand I've had positive experiences with before.

      The scope arrived well-packaged in a sturdy box suitable for long-term storage. Included were a rubber eyecup, lens cover, and a straightforward manual. The scope itself feels solid and closely mirrors the original in appearance. All adjustment knobs operate smoothly without any issues.

      The 3x to 9x magnification range offers excellent flexibility, allowing for both terrain scanning and precise targeting without any blurring or loss of focus. Elevation adjustments are simple and reliable, making this scope suitable not only for airsoft but also for stronger and more accurate air rifles.

      I tested it primarily on a CYMA SVD and also mounted it on both a CYMA AK74 and an Arcturus AK74, all of which feature the side rail mount. The scope performed consistently well on each platform – stable, secure, and precise.

      In low-light conditions, the illuminated reticle is a valuable feature. Mounting is done via a side rail attachment, typical for many Eastern-style rifles. The installation is straightforward, and once secured, the scope stays firmly in place.

      It’s worth mentioning that this scope is a bit heavier than some might expect. However, that’s completely understandable given the model, and the weight adds to the robust, durable impression – which it has so far lived up to.

      Overall, I'm very pleasantly surprised by the performance of this scope. For a reasonable price, you get a level of quality that exceeds expectations. The only minor drawback is the limited availability of protective lens covers or killflashes, but that’s just a detail.
