Vector Optics Maverick-II Plus 1x22 SOL RDS red dot sight is an enclosed reflex sight designed for fast target acquisition at short and medium distances. The model uses a 2 MOA red dot, CR2032 battery power supported by a solar panel and a Picatinny QR mount, making it easier to configure optics on replicas and platforms equipped with a standard mounting rail. The 6061 T6 aluminum construction, IPX4 resistance and motion sensor support convenient use of the red dot sight in changing field conditions.

Construction and design

The Vector Optics Maverick-II Plus 1x22 SOL RDS uses an enclosed construction that helps protect the optical system from dirt, debris and splashes during field use. The housing is made of 6061 T6 aluminum, allowing the red dot sight to maintain rigidity with compact dimensions of 84 x 74 x 51 mm.

The matte black finish reduces reflections on the surface of the housing and fits airsoft, sport shooting and tactical configurations. The 214 g weight allows the sight to be mounted without noticeably increasing the weight of the entire setup.

Optics and aiming dot

The red dot sight offers 1x magnification and a 22 mm objective lens, supporting fast target tracking with both eyes open. The 2 MOA red aiming dot helps maintain a clear target picture and allows more precise correction during dynamic shooting.

The lens is covered with a multi-layer optical coating that supports image clarity and reduces unwanted light reflections. Brightness adjustment includes 7 levels and an additional night mode, allowing the dot intensity to be matched to lighting conditions.

Adjustment and mounting

The sight can be adjusted within a ±60 MOA range, while a single click corresponds to 1 MOA. This range allows the aiming dot position to be adapted to the user's replica, firearm configuration or personal preferences.

The set includes a high Picatinny QR mount and a low Picatinny mount. The QR system allows quick installation and removal without tools, while the high mount supports a 1/3 Co-Witness configuration.

Power supply and use

The red dot sight is powered by a CR2032 battery and supported by a solar panel located on the top of the housing. The solar panel helps extend operating time, while battery access does not require re-adjusting the sight settings.

The motion sensor automatically turns the sight off after a period of inactivity, reducing battery consumption. When movement is detected, the device returns to readiness, making the optic easier to use during breaks in gameplay or position changes.

Resistance and operating conditions

The model has an IPX4 resistance rating, so it is protected against splashes. The construction is shock-resistant, while nitrogen filling helps reduce lens fogging during use in changing conditions.

The sight can operate in temperatures from -20°C to +55°C. This makes it suitable for use in different weather conditions, both on the shooting range and during airsoft games.
