It's my go-to optic suggestion for beginners as it gives you two mounts out the box, has the standard AMM mounting pattern to accept aftermarket & repro mounts (like 2.26" and scalarworks style mounts). The parallax is acceptable for airsoft, it holds zero on GBBRs (allegedly) and has adequate brightness settings, though the knob to adjust brightness settings is pretty tight. I actually greatly prefer the turning knob design for adjusting brightness, as you don't need to actually look through the optic window to make sure it's turned off as I need to do for my red dot with a minus and plus button design, where you have to hold in the button to turn it off.

      Make sure you make some adequate polycarbonate protectors, avoid cheap plexiglass covers and this makes a brilliant option for a first gun or a project build. If you're in the market for a "forever-dot" that you never want to replace, spend a little more on the better options for a few dozen euros more.

      Looks very nice, holds zero with GBBRs, clear lens without any visual distorsions or defects, which is to be expected with vector optics products.
      The only advantage from the gen 3 is that you won't need tools to adjust the zero, but at the same time you can bump the regulation turrets if you're not careful enough.

      This is not a bad knockoff red dot sight.
      One thing to remenber buying, is lens protection against bbs, very important to protect the lens.
      Since this sight can be used on real guns its purpose is not only for airsoft and it doesn't have lens protection. So get one.

      Advantages:
      Cheap, waterproof, fog proof and shock proof.
      Looks great and with the lower and riser it can fit on any gun.
      Really easy to configure and the wheels are clicky and sturdy.
      Disadvantages:
      The laser is slightly visible through the front lens, not a problem during day but during the night it might be giving your location off.
      A little starburst error, but when its sunny outside it is not visible.
