Iconic Design

The electric replica of the FN M249 Para machine gun is solidly constructed from a combination of metal, steel, and durable plastic. The receiver, charging handle guide, feed tray, box latch, flash hider, transport handle, bipod, trigger guard, and all screws and pins are made of steel. The bolt cover, barrel, stock, bipod housing, gas block, and flash hider are made from high-quality metal, while the pistol grip, barrel guard, front grip, and trigger housing are made from reinforced plastic.

The rifle features a 22mm RIS rail for mounting additional optical sights. The Picatinny rail features markings identical to the original counterpart. The M249 Para also includes an adjustable rear sight, both vertically and horizontally, and a folding bipod with adjustable length.

Just like the original, the A&K M249 PARA offers the option to power the rifle with two types of magazines - standard M4/M16 magazines and dedicated box magazines for M249 replicas. The adjustable stock allows for easy operation of the rifle in confined spaces and facilitates transport.

Reliable Mechanics

The heart of the rifle is the fully reinforced metal M249 gearbox, allowing for prolonged and continuous fire sequences. The gearbox is equipped with a quick spring change system, providing flexibility for easy spring replacement. Inside the gearbox is a complete set of reinforced 18:1 gears, mounted on 8mm ball bearings. The spring and cylinder head are CNC machined from aluminum, with a double-sealed cylinder head featuring thick sorbothane, and the piston head is equipped with a ball bearing. A&K pays special attention to the modification of the replica, including the installation of a new microswitch for faster and more responsive trigger reaction. This is not the only modification - a strong focus has been placed on a new hop-up unit with a harder bucking and a special omega spacer, providing improved range and accuracy.
