      Very solid replica with excellent build quality. The body feels strong, the parts fit together well, and there is very little movement or rattling. The FDE color also looks much better in person than in the product photos. It has a more natural, earthy tone rather than a bright sandy color, which gives the replica a more realistic and premium appearance.

      I did experience some issues with overspin and the precocking function. Sometimes the replica fires multiple shots instead of completing a single cycle (on precocking any level). I also performed the manual calibration procedure recommended by Eshooter, but that did not help either. At one point, the replica worked correctly while it was disassembled, but I was unable to reproduce the result later. I believe the battery may simply have been slightly more discharged at that moment, which reduced the overspin. I believe this may be caused by the combination of a high rate of fire, a relatively weak stock spring and the use of an 11.1 V battery. I tried repositioning the ETU board so it could detect the gear cycle more accurately, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem.

      Using a 7.4 V battery would probably reduce or completely eliminate the overspin, although it would also lower the trigger response and rate of fire. My first planned upgrade is an M120 spring, which should help the gearbox complete each cycle more consistently. Later, I may replace the original ETU with something such as a Perun V2 Hybrid or another optical-sensor ETU.

      Overall, it is still a great replica, especially when purchased during a promotion. The external quality, colour and general feel are excellent, and with a few internal adjustments it should become even better.

      The body is solid, internals are fine, easily upgradable. Sits in hands like a proper replica, feels very nice. No moving parts.

      But there are couple of issues:
      It does not have "Electronic system - Eshooter Kestrel V2" as said in the description, but cheaper and simplier alternative: "MOSFET FALCON 2.0". Which is even said in the manual.
      It does not have pre-cooking.

      The specs says: 1.34 J, but actually it was 0.95 J on first test, with 0.25g BBs.
      So the gun is way underperforming from specs.

      After a few upgrades, it will be an amazing gun.

The licensed Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII 14.5" is an AR15 platform AEG by CYMA and EMG, designed for versatile mid-range use while maintaining good mobility. The longer barrel and stable construction support fire control, shot consistency, and stability during sustained fire.

Construction and design

The replica is based on the Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII configuration with a 14.5-inch outer barrel. It features a licensed RIS III handguard with a Picatinny 1913 top rail and MLOCK interface, allowing the attachment of accessories such as lights and foregrips.

The RIS III system combines structural rigidity with reduced weight, while multiple mounting points increase configuration flexibility.

The 6-position adjustable stock allows proper fit to the user and gear, while the textured pistol grip improves handling control.

Build quality

The construction is based on metal components, supporting resistance to intensive use and overall platform stability. Well-fitted external parts reduce play and improve the feel during operation.

Ergonomics and handling

The full-length configuration with a longer barrel supports better control during fire and improved stability at mid-range distances, while maintaining acceptable maneuverability.

Gearbox V2 GEN-2 - CYMA Platinum core

The new generation of CYMA Platinum replicas features an upgraded V2 GEN-2 gearbox designed for high rate of fire (~27 RPS) and intensive use. The reinforced shell includes improved bearing seats and stress-distributing radius cuts for increased durability.

The 13:1 gear ratio combined with short-stroke supports fast trigger response and a dynamic cycle. The system runs on 8 mm ball bearings, with a piston featuring a full steel rack and a metal spring guide with bearings.

The gearbox includes a quick spring change system accessible through the receiver, allowing power adjustment without disassembling the mechanism.

Electronic system - Eshooter Kestrel V2

The replica is equipped with the Kestrel V2 ETU, responsible for system control and stable electrical operation.

The system allows trigger-based programming, supports firing modes such as burst and binary, and includes pre-cocking and active brake functions that improve control over the firing cycle.

The system also provides protection against overload, motor lock, and improper battery voltage.
