The licensed Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW by CYMA and EMG is a compact AR15 platform AEG designed for dynamic CQB gameplay and operation in confined environments. The short layout and efficient internal system support fast trigger response, high mobility, and control in tight spaces.

Construction and design

The model replicates the Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW configuration with a compact outer barrel and MLOCK handguard. The platform is built around a Picatinny top rail, allowing installation of optics and accessories.

The replica features licensed Daniel Defense markings and characteristic AR15 components such as the fire selector, bolt catch, and charging handle.

The new generation of CYMA Platinum replicas features an upgraded V2 GEN-2 gearbox designed for high rate of fire (~27 RPS) and intensive use. The reinforced shell includes improved bearing seats and stress-distributing radius cuts for increased durability.

The 13:1 gear ratio combined with short-stroke supports fast trigger response and a dynamic cycle. The system runs on 8 mm ball bearings, with a piston featuring a full steel rack and a metal spring guide with bearings.

The gearbox includes a quick spring change system accessible through the receiver, allowing power adjustment without disassembling the mechanism.

Electronic system - Eshooter Kestrel V2

The replica is equipped with the Kestrel V2 ETU, responsible for system control and stable electrical operation.

The system allows trigger-based programming, supports firing modes such as burst and binary, and includes pre-cocking and active brake functions that improve control over the firing cycle.

The system also provides protection against overload, motor lock, and improper battery voltage.
