CM.048S, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.048S GEN-2 by CYMA is an electric replica inspired by the AKMS rifle, featuring a steel construction and an updated V3 gearbox. The GEN-2 version is equipped with a CYMA V3 MOSFET, QSC quick spring change system, and a short hi-torque motor with neodymium magnets, supporting improved trigger response and smoother operation during intensive use.

Construction and design

The model replicates the classic AKMS rifle equipped with its distinctive folding steel stock. The construction combines steel, wood, and metal elements, providing rigidity and a realistic feel.

The receiver, stock, flash hider, dust cover, and gas tube are made of steel. Components such as the outer barrel, front sight base, gas block, rear sight base, handguard retainer, cleaning rod, and iron sights are made of metal.

The handguard and gas tube cover are made of laminated wood, preserving the classic AKMS appearance and supporting a secure grip.

The pistol grip is made of durable nylon, while the magazine is constructed from metal.

The replica features an individual serial number located on the receiver.

Internal components and mechanics

Inside, the replica uses a V3 gearbox equipped with a QSC quick spring change system, allowing easier adjustment of the replica configuration for different gameplay scenarios.

The gearbox features 8 mm steel ball bearings and a piston with a full metal tooth rack, supporting system durability during intensive use.

The pneumatic system uses a type 0 cylinder and a 19.60 mm polymer nozzle equipped with an O-ring seal. The silent pneumatic set supports smooth gearbox operation.

A metal spring guide with bearings supports stable spring operation during semi-automatic and full-auto fire.

Power is provided by a short hi-torque motor equipped with neodymium magnets, delivering efficient mechanism operation and faster trigger response.

Electronic system

The GEN-2 version is equipped with a CYMA V3 MOSFET, supporting the electrical system and improving replica responsiveness during use.

The replica reaches approximately 390 FPS in factory configuration and a rate of fire of around 20 RPS.

Performance and precision

The model uses a brass AEG inner barrel with a length of 450 mm and a diameter of 6.04 mm. The long barrel supports BB flight stability and shot repeatability at medium range.

The metal AK-standard hop-up chamber allows BB trajectory adjustment.

At the end of the outer barrel there is a 14 mm CCW thread for mounting compatible muzzle devices.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect plug and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries.

The battery is installed under the dust cover.
