According to the Arms and Ammunition act airsoft guns are fully legal, that's why there are no regulations on the way they are stored, used, and moved. However, you have to remember that products that are deceptively similar to firearms, can frighten people and make them feel threatened. Therefore, BB pellet replicas should not be exposed in public places. When moving around the city, it is advised to hide them in such a way that outsiders cannot see them. Some countries solved the issue of moving with airsoft gear differently. In Portugal, airsoft guns have to be marked by color. By that they can be differed from firearms.

Thanks to this, you will not cause panic among passers-by and you will avoid the interest of the police. Also remember that accidental or intentional shooting at people not participating in the airsoft game is dangerous and may be treated as causing damage to health, which is punishable by imprisonment from 3 months to 5 years.
