MK12 MOD1 SPR [Double Bell]

Beautiful! Heavy, durable, sturdy. So realistic.
Strong and accurate for 60-70 m.
It's so well made with good material which makes me feel safe for any future changes and upgrades without loosing it's stability.
The gun is perfect for an affordable DRM platform.
Nice aluminium rotary hop up, easy and satisfying to adjust.
For other uses might be found heavy and long. I like this because it makes it so realistic.
If realistic is not what you are looking for and prefer something more tactical, it will tire you carrying it, aiming and controlling its length.
The stock is cheap plastic which is also very light, so it affects its balance and the hole weight burdens the front hand.
Conclusion, I skip the stock disadvantage because it's has great shooting attributes, it's super realistic and it's core is very durable and sturdy.
I also used the tune up service and it might be a reason for the great shooting.

I was disappointed by the box it comes with. Just a cardboard box on which is tidied with tire-ups. No styrofoam or something. You will definitely need a case, but with that price, the budget is already reduced so it's ok.

A winner for it's price! A good looking replica with pretyy good build quality. Sturdy and at the same time lightweight. Really good for beginners, and with some upgrade, it can become a good dmr. Pretty capable as a stock gun, mine came with 440 fps, and decent accuracy. In stock form it shoots about 55-60m far. Gets better with a good hop up bucking, but the stock hop unit is sadly not compatible with most aftermarket ones. But if you want to uprage it to true dmr, you can should change that anyway (retroarms worked great for me, but any major brand will do). The whole thing is sturdy and wobble free. If the front rail wobbles for you, just grab the ring behind it with some clothes, and turn it until you can :). Front and rear iron sights look pretty cheap, but they are working, and adjustable. The stock is the only letdown, it feels weak and has a hollow sound to it. If you take it down with a long screwdriver, you can change the main spring easily. The internals are pretty good too. Nozzle is cnc machined with o-ring, and piston head is double o-ring. Mine had great compression and low fps deviaton (-/+ 2.5). You should probably change the cylinder to a full one, and a piston to a full steel teeth rack one, if you want to tune the gun. Other internal parts are pretty standard. The inner barrel protrude about 5cm to the barrel extension/compensator. On a wargame in the woods the gun works great even in stock form, as it has low weight, and pretty good balance, and the length is easily manageable. (Check out for local rules, as the stock gun is too strong for some fields. Luckily taiwangun offers a downgrade.)

I think it's the best MK12 SPR Mod1 DMR base I've come across.
The replica holds its own even out of the box, but even more so when tuned. Solid, strong body, very good design. The grip may be a bit uncomfortable for left-handed people, but it is replaceable.
I use it blown to color, I built a separate set for it with the RRV chest rig also available here, etc. A very solid, powerful weapon. Painting was also a dream. It's been there for a long time, it does its job. The Gearbox is also very strong.
And the price/value ratio is excellent.

Its a nice enough dmr for the price, but if your thinking of making it at long term projects i suggest changing the stock since its quality is not the best thus making rifle front heavy , otherwise solid choice for a starter dmr. It also fits standard ar-15 mags but they dont look to nice in it

Nice made replica, its perfect for its price. Did not expect such good gun. Only quick change of spring is not very quick. You need to pull out three screws and for last one you need long screwdriver.

Feels really good to handle , it's sturdy and a very good option for a budget kit.
This is my first proper AEG and I've been really enjoying it.
There's no wobbling on any parts , doesn't rattle.
The one thing is that it doesn't come with any manual or anything of the sorts , so finding more about the gun is mostly for online research

Very solid replica, feels good in the hands, used only for one game yet, had no issues what so ever, no jamming or problems with feeding, one con tho, the battery compartment is super large, and you need to buy appropriate battery for it not to wobble inside, and the battery wires should be upgraded, but that's not a big deal. Overall great product for the price, would recommend.

A great replica for not to great a Cost. Its great for a DMR/sniper platform. Made of sturdy and realistic material. Love the way how it holds and feels. Seriously recommend this replica. Alsof great for starters.

I compared it to a friends of mine TM M4 (standard out of box) and mine outperformed his on range.

precision after the tune up is excellent! 25m and a 7x7 cm grouping is amazing!

Excellent gun, great build for the price. I added a silencer and scope, and it really has the DMR look. I have never be disappointed with double bell and Taiwan Gun. I have bought dozens of guns this year and Taiwan never disappoints. Shout out to Pheas airsoft reviews and AAV reviews they always give go info on most guns Taiwan Gun carries.

This is not my first gun from double bell but they keep the good work. Everything is just as in the foto, and the technical data is also correct. Works good looks good, should i have to say any more. It’s a reliable gun that’s good for starters and for pro’s as well.

Bougth this rifle mostly for the outside shell And not the inside (gearbox) But shoots 420fps stock. Very nice. And is now convertet too HPA. And what a gun. The fell it has is very nice. The stock do seem a little cheap side. And the grip is for rigthhand users only. Im holding guns with left hand so had to switch the grip. But all in all. Best new rifle for the price!
Proberly not the last item to buy from double bell !

I really didn't expect that much for this price,
but it is a solid gun (except stock) I've had much worse guns which were more expensive. Sounds good, good compresion, receiver fits tight no wobble (although there is a very small gap between them in front).

I would recommend this gun for a friend (if I had some :D)
