CM.002, GEN-2 [CYMA]

CM.002 GEN-2 airsoft rifle by CYMA is an electric airsoft gun based on the AR15 platform, prepared in a 10.3" or 14.5" barrel configuration using the included barrel extension. The construction uses a GEN-2 gearbox, CYMA MOSFET system and quick spring change system through the spring guide, supporting smooth operation and easier adjustment of the replica configuration to different airsoft scenarios.

Construction and design

CM.002 GEN-2 is made from a combination of metal and plastic. The pistol grip and SF-type stock are made from polymer, while the metal external construction supports the rigidity of the replica during regular use.

The replica can be used in two external barrel length configurations. The basic 10.3" configuration is suitable for dynamic actions at shorter distances, while the barrel extension allows the user to obtain a 14.5" setup characteristic of classic M4A1 configurations.

The handguard features four RIS rails, allowing the mounting of grips, flashlights and other compatible accessories. The upper mounting rail on the upper receiver allows the installation of optical sights or other sighting devices, and the replica comes with a factory-mounted aperture sight.

At the front of the replica there is a front sight base with a sling attachment point, classic for the AR15 family. The rear plate is equipped with a double-sided sling attachment point, making it easier to adapt the way the replica is carried to the user's gear configuration.

Ergonomics and handling

The replica uses the classic AR15 platform control layout with a one-sided magazine catch and one-sided fire selector. This layout supports intuitive handling for users familiar with M4/M16 family replicas.

The functional bolt catch allows the mock bolt carrier to be held in the rear position, making access to the hop-up chamber and BB backspin adjustment easier.

The SF-type stock has six-position length adjustment, allowing the replica to be adapted to the user's preferences, tactical vest or shooting style. The battery compartment is located in the SF stock and stock tube.

The replica weighs ~2726 g without the magazine, giving the construction a weight close to its firearm counterpart.

Internal parts and mechanics

CM.002 GEN-2 uses a V2 gearbox with a quick spring change system through the spring guide. The internal construction includes 8 mm steel ball bearings, 18:1 gears, a steel bearing spring guide and a piston with full steel teeth and an aluminum piston head.

The pneumatic system consists of an aluminum cylinder head, a steel ported cylinder and a 21.0 mm Teflon nozzle. The replica is equipped with a long-type high torque motor that supports the operation of the AEG drive system.

The serial number is located on the left side of the lower receiver.

Electronic system

The replica is equipped with a CYMA MOSFET system, which supports trigger response and the operating culture of the electrical system. The T-connect plug allows the use of LiPo 7.4V and 11.1V batteries indicated for this configuration.

The replica reaches ~19 RPS with the appropriate power configuration.

The replica uses a T-connect plug. The battery compartment is located in the SF-type stock and stock tube.

Performance and precision

The model uses a metal rotary hop-up chamber, allowing convenient adjustment of BB backspin. The 6.03 mm diameter and 295 mm long inner barrel is made from brass, supporting shot repeatability at short and medium distances.

The 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel allows the mounting of compatible muzzle devices.
