The AT-CAT-04 represents an electric airsoft version of an 8.5" AR-15 assault rifle from the ARC X C.A.T. (Combat Artisan Tactical) series, equipped with a split gearbox. This feature allows the replica to be disassembled into two halves, mimicking the disassembly process of a real M4 carbine, granting access to the internal mechanism.



Constructed with a durable full metal build, the primary components, such as the upper and lower receiver, handguard, outer barrel, flash hider, gas block, charging handle, and the foldable buffer tube, are crafted from aluminum and various metal alloys. Smaller parts, including the safety selector lever, magazine release, bolt catch, forward assist, receiver extension nut, pins, and trigger, akin to those in AR15 firearms, are manufactured from steel. The entire structure is precisely assembled and safeguarded against corrosion.

The internal mechanism features a fortified ARC V2 Centaur Split Gearbox with a QSR2 quick-change spring system, ball-bearing spring guide, ball-bearing piston head, CNC stainless steel cylinder, and a polymer piston with steel teeth, functioning in conjunction with high-quality 18:1 gears. The gear set, crafted from sintered steel, is mounted on 8mm steel bushings to handle substantial loads. Only the bevel gear utilizes ball bearings to ensure smooth rotation at high speeds. Additionally, the gearbox is outfitted with an electric trigger "micro-switch", MOSFET (enhancing rifle firing rate, providing a quicker trigger response, and safeguarding against contact burnout), and mechanically adjustable Precocking (enabling faster shot release upon trigger press, facilitated by the pre-stretched piston spring) utilizing a specially designed 12-position sector gear (360° Manual Adjustment). The airsoft AR-15 AEG is also equipped with a sealed nozzle that synergizes effectively with an user-friendly rotary hop-up chamber and a 6.02mm precision barrel measuring 200mm in length. The most recent innovation comprises a 24k high-performance neodymium motor with an MIM steel pinion gear. With this setup, the AEG functions seamlessly, yielding a BB muzzle velocity of ~350 fps and, when paired with a LiPo battery, a rate of fire exceeding 20 rounds per second
