      I installed it to the buckle up pistol puch panel easily.
      My phone is a Xiaomi 13T Pro (for size reference) and it can easily placed inside the pouch.
      The front panel is 'hard', so it can protect your phone from the BBs, but I recommend to face the phone's front panel inwards.
