Gas Replica Optimization Service (lubrication and sealing)

The gearbox optimization service in airsoft guns refers to the process of improving the efficiency, reliability and durability of the gearbox by priming and lubricating the relevant parts.

When optimizing the gearbox, the airsoft technician performs the following actions:

Shims: The technician adds or removes shims of the appropriate thickness to adjust the clearances between the parts inside the gearbox. Proper shimming ensures parts fit properly, minimizes excessive vibration, and prevents unnecessary friction, which can lead to wear and damage.

Lubrication: The technician applies appropriate lubricants to the bearings, gears, piston, trigger set and other moving parts of the gearbox. Lubricants protect and keep parts moving smoothly, minimizing friction and reducing wear. Proper lubrication also affects the efficiency and reliability of an airsoft gun.
