Great Glasses, during summer play I've had no fogging, but on a rainy and cold day after sprinting a few times I've had fogging issues. Slightly putting glasses away from the face helps.
Even when there is no sun present on a cloudy day the tint is perfect, I would even say that you can acquire targets better.

Edge Eyewear is committed to maximizing eye safety. This serious responsibility requires rigorous testing to ensure compliance with the highest national standards. Every pair of Edge glasses is subjected to the toughest tests - because tough tests create tough glasses. When it comes to something as valuable as eyesight, we wouldn't manufacture anything less than the best.

Edge Eyewear became the first company ever to successfully produce ANSI Compliant Polarized Safety Lenses. There are two methodologies to produce polarized lenses. One method, called "thermoforming" or "heat stamping", has never produced polarized film lenses that are strong or thick enough to withstand the intense impact tests required by the ANSI Z87+ and MCEPS standards. Polycarbonate injection molded lenses, pioneered by Edge Eyewear, contain ionized crystals that filter light in a similar manner as polarized film, yet leave the lenses thick enough to withstand the intense impact standards required by ANSI Z87+ and Military MCEPS Standards.

All Edge Eyewear is tested in independent laboratories COLTS for compliance with:
  • ANSI Z87.1+2010
  • Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12
VAPOR SHIELD Anti-Fog G-15 lens: A great lens for a variety of bright conditions. Like all Edge Eyewear, the GH-15 lens provides 99.9% protections from UVA/UVB/UVC rays. 15% of the total amount of light passes through this lens.
  • G-15: The U.S. Air Force engineered this specialized technology for used in aviator lenses during the 1950s. Through extensive experimentation with the light spectrum, it was found that transmission of green and yellow light could be maximized at 550 nanometers (the two colors best perceived by the human eye). The outcome is a neutral and true-to-life perspective, which results in a noticeable cooling sensation for the eyes. Edge Eyewear is the first company ever to offer a safety-rated G-15 lens.
  • VAPOR SHIELD: Most situations can be handled with Standard Anti-Fog, but for extreme environments, Edge Eyewear developed a revolutionary anti-fog coating called "Vapor Shield". It is absolutely impervious to fog.
Caution: Safety glasses provide protection from dangerous impact that can be caused by metal shavings, wood chips, sparks, and general construction site or recreational hazards. Although they are compliant and tested to exceed the safety standards listed, they are not unbreakable. Supplemental protectors such as goggles or face shields should be used when large amounts of flying particles are present. DO NOT use this eyewear for protection from arc welding, laser light, chemicals, or where high levels of infrared radiation are present.

A product with ballistic protection according to the American ballistic standard MIL-PRF-32432

The offered product meets the necessary norms and standards for marketing in the European Union. In addition, we constantly strive to ensure that the products we offer exceed the standards. All this to increase the level of security that our customers rightly expect from us.

In addition to complying with the European standard EN 166, this product has also been tested to the MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic eyewear standard. This is a rigorous standard that exceeds the EN 166 Category B strength requirements. One of the few tests of the product for compliance with the MIL-PRF-32432 standard is the impact of a steel shard of .15 inch size (3.8 mm, weight 0.376 g) at a speed of 650 FPS (feets per second), i.e. about 200 m / s. The parameters and approvals of this product make it a safe choice.

Although the glasses comply with current standards, they are not indestructible. Remember that the protection of your eyes depends on the proper fit of the glasses to the shape of your face and the rules adopted by the participants during airsoft games (e.g. allowed muzzle velocity, minimum shooting distance), which is beyond the seller's control.

We remind you that this product as a protective element can be damaged as part of the normal wear and tear of the protective measure. If your glasses/goggles have been damaged, have scratches, deformations or you have doubts about their safety - do not use them again!
