Great magazine. Awesome for that price. Fits all sorts of mp5 based replicas since 95% of them are based on Tokio Marui MP5 and CYMA is a TM copy. So it will fit most of all mp5 replicas

Nice, lightweight but still metal magazine. It's worth noting that, at least with my CYMA mp5 that I bought, the magazines click very nicely but not any other brand - best to buy CYMA magazines for CYMA replicas.

This MP5SD is a super solid replica, both on the outside and the inside! There is no wobble to be had ANYWHERE on this gun except for a little bit on the stock, which is barely even noticeable. It's hefty and feels good to hold, and the HK slap on this is SO much more satisfying than on the EF MP5SD6 Competition I used to rock. The trigger response is also impressive for the stock internals, although I do plan to install a Perun Hybrid and replace that High Speed motor with a High Torque one to maximize snappiness. 100% recommend for all MP5SD lovers out there.

I mean what can I say, can't go wrong with CYMA mags, especially at this price! I transitioned from an EF MP5SD to the CYMA version and the Umarex mags unfortunately do not fit in the CYMA, so I had to buy some of these. They're strong but still light so they are a perfect replacement for the old plastic Umarex mags.

These dont fit well in any classic army mp5s. You need to file down the upper portion of the channel where the mag catch sits. You need to file it upwards about 0.1mm for these to fit snug. Otherwise they may work fine in cyma mp5s. Funny thing is that the old fashion mp5 cyma mags fit fine in my classic army's. Besides that these are great and have a excellent capacity for a small magazine

This mp5 is mostly made of metal and feels quite heavy and solid. RoF is around 21bbs with a weak 11.1, the gun is pretty quiet and sounds like it's been shimmed decently. I tried 4 different cyma mags (2 hi-caps and 2 mid-caps) and they all feed properly.
Accuracy/consistency is average, i imagine a better hop rubber and nozzle would be noticeable upgrades, but it's fine like this for a stock replica. Not to say the hop doesn't work, because it does flawlessly. Minimum hop setting would be about right for .23 bbs, so it probably hops heavy ones with no issue.
I'd also recommend wiring it to Deans (it comes with the tamiya connector) and installing a mosfet as basic useful upgrades, but again you can run it stock no problem. Also a 11.1 lipo crane style (3 sticks) battery fits under the plastic handguard, which is nice.
The selector on mine actually clicks into place solidly, which is often not the case on mp5s.

There are a few things to be aware of:
      - the handguard retaining pins come loose easily, they will eventually drop off the gun if not taped down. But the plastic handguard doesn't wobble and will not just fall free if there are no pins holding it.
      - the stock is a bit wobbly, but nothing extreme.
      - the plastic part where the stock butt rests when fully collapsed, just behind the receiver, is made of flimsy plastic and feels fragile.
      - the rear iron sight wobbles so much it's as useful as a carry handle on a revolver. Actually unusable.
      - all the mags click into the mag well firmly and with little-to-no wobble, but the paddle mag release is VERY sensitive, like you slightly touch it and it drops the mag.

All in all don't get scared by these little shortcomings, it's a great replica out of the box and the value per money is very high. Can recommend.

They don't feel quite as high quality as I was expecting, with them being metal, so I think the metal must be quite thin. That said, they don't feel low quality either. The most important thing is they work - at least they do on my Cyma MP5s which, you'd hope would be the case. They do also have some wobble in the magwell but I've had worse.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE replica. Bang for buck is insane.

First of all, the externals are great. Metal where it should be, polymer where it should be, it looks great and feels great. It's not all rolled steel like some of the way more expensive AEGs out there (not going to name names) but there's a trade off with everything, and the internals with those way more expensive ones are actually worse than this model. The weight is pretty close to the real thing as well. Worth noting that the plastic handguard is not always the most secure with the way the handguard locking pins are set up, but it's not a big deal. If you lose the handguard locking pins, taiwangun sells spares at a very low cost.

The adjustable stock has three positions and holds up pretty well - there's a bit of wobble to it, but that's true of basically all adjustable stocks, even on real firearms. I've heard some people have lowered the amount of wobble with electrical tape in the grooves where the adjustable stock slides into, but there hasn't been enough wobble for me to really care about that.

Also, the rear sling mount is slightly wobbly and I probably wouldn't trust it to hold up to extended long term use - this seems to be true for the other Cyma MP5 models too and there are a few posts on the internet about this problem (rear sling mounts popping out during gameplay etc). I would just avoid using it, it's not a big deal and you can get a velcro strap / sling that wraps around the mp5 to use as a sling attachment point instead (just look up MP5 sling on taiwangun, it's like five dollars).

      Now, for the internals:

Stock and out of the box, this thing SHREDS. 13:1 gear ratio, reinforced gearbox, steel tooth piston. Even on 9.6v NiMH batteries (not LiPo) the trigger response feels basically instant and this thing is firing BBs like a pile driver. I'm relatively newer to the hobby, but my friends who have been airsofting for years, some of whom have heavily modded replicas, were all impressed - and this replica can easily keep up with much more expensive/modded ones. The replica is wired to accept batteries in either the front handguard or the back for stocks with battery compartments - the factory stock won't be able to hold a battery since it's the collapsing one, but you can buy the classic solid MP5 stock from taiwangun for around 15 bucks and hold the battery in there if you like. Nice to have the option.

Some people might say it's worth it to swap out the barrel, or upgrade the hop up / bucking / etc, but this gun is so good stock that you've already hit the point of diminishing returns. It's unlikely you'll notice that much of a difference given how tight the groupings are right out of the box (I recommend at least 0.25g bbs) so in terms of bang for buck, no further upgrades really make that much sense. This model doesn't come with a MOSFET preinstalled (only the Cyma platinums do, and there isn't a platinum Cyma MP5SD that I'm aware of) but you don't even really need one, considering the level of performance I'm getting out of a 9.6v NiMH. If that's your jam, though, you can definitely install a MOSFET (and while I haven't used this specific feature myself I believe taiwangun will install it for you, if you add a MOSFET to your cart along with the replica and check the box for them to install it).

The inner barrel doesn't run all the way through the (detachable) suppressor, so you could in theory run it without the suppressor on (but why would you? it's an SD) or swap the inner barrel for a longer one (but it's not super necessary, see above).

The suppressor is also perfectly sized for you to easily install many different kinds of tracer units, if you like that sort of thing.

There's also a pretty good selection of upgrades and parts available, since this is a Cyma MP5. Nothing like the level of support available for an M4, but you can get a flat trigger, extended cocking handle, picatinny rail/claw mount for the top for a red dot, a few different stock options, etc. The SD won't be able to accept handguards meant for the non-SD MP5s, but that's no big deal (and again, it's an SD - why change one of the most iconic features? If you do decide to make this questionable decision, there are m-lok handguards meant for MP5SD replicas, but they're kind of pricey and not available on taiwangun. Just stick with the classic, iconic look.) There are also spare parts available if you lose or break something - from the suppressor to the fire selector to the handguard/buttstock pins. I definitely recommend getting an extra pair of handguard pins just in case, since you'll be removing the handguard any time you want to access the battery and the pins don't feel the MOST secure / you might drop or lose one. They're super cheap.

Tip: The suppressor is about 40mm in diameter. If you want to mount an attachment to it, you don't necessarily need the super expensive real steel MP5SD picatinny mount or some sort of sketchier 3d printed mount. There are sellers on ebay selling a generic '40mm Picatinny Barrel Mount' for less than ten dollars that will fit the suppressor with just a tiny bit of finagling. Perfect for lights.

I do wish taiwangun carried spares for the plastic cylindrical handguard as well - I don't think it's likely that I'll lose mine but it'd be nice to know I could get another if I ever did.

(This isn't a big deal, but make sure the handguard is on and in the correct position each time you put the handguard pins in - if you force them in at an angle you could damage the rubber o-ring looking thing that holds the pins securely and stops them from slipping. You'll know what I mean once you look at it.)

This model doesn't come with a battery or charger, which is fine - you can get those elsewhere, or if shipping laws in your country allow it you can even just add them to your cart here on taiwangun. They chrono it for you and include the results on a piece of paper in the box when it arrives, so you can be sure you'll pass chrono at the field. It does come with a nice mid-cap, and I recommend adding a few more - Taiwangun carries very nice Cyma MP5 mid-caps at a low price. They've got high-caps too, but while those work well enough I don't like the rattling sound or the need to wind them up.

Overall, this replica is incredible, and insane value in terms of bang for buck. Can easily keep up with just about any other AEG out there, including ones that cost a lot more. If you like the MP5SD aesthetic, this is the way to go. Would give six stars if I could.

Extremely affordable mags, but they feed very well and lock in perfectly with my CYMA MP5. I definitely recommend going with mid-caps over high-caps, as high-caps tend to rattle and require winding. Seems like the outside is made of metal, too, which feels nicer in the hand and more realistic than a polymer version. If you've got an MP5, you really can't do better than this and especially at this price.

This replica airsoft gun totally surprise me, right out of the box the gun looked fantastic. The weight of the gun impressed me and the gun was solid. Only part I found a slight wobble was the retractable stock and that's really nothing to worry about. After putting in a 7.4 lipo I loaded the mag with .28g bbs. After a few shots and slight adjustment of the hop up the gun really truly shines. Using .28g bbs it can over hop which means you can even use heavier bbs eg: .30s / .32g bbs upwards. The range for a cqb gun was also impressive shooting out to a target 50 meters away and landing all shots nicely. Shooting at target 30 to 35 meters away it's nearly accurate grouping. Iam very very impressed and very happy to get my hands on this gun. I find tiwangun always delivers with there fast away of airsoft replicas and this also is up there with the many airsoft replicas I've bought over the few years of tiwangun. I do wish they give me a discount code when next buying. Cheers guys fantastic delivery and fantastic replica highly recommend this airsoft replica. Richie from Ireland

I recently acquired the CYMA Magazine Mid-Cap for MP5 Long, and it has quickly proven to be a reliable addition to my airsoft gear. CYMA has a reputation for producing high-quality airsoft components, and this magazine lives up to that standard.

The magazine is constructed from durable polymer, making it lightweight yet sturdy enough to handle the rigors of intense gameplay. The mid-capacity design holds around 100-120 BBs, striking a perfect balance between realism and practicality on the field. Unlike high-capacity magazines, this mid-cap doesn’t require constant winding, which allows for smoother and more consistent firing.

One of the standout features is the feeding performance.

i have waited about 4 months to write this review, and i’ve personally used it for at least 15 games since then so i feel fairly qualified to write this review honestly:

this gun absolutely rips. the accuracy and range is unbelievable with stock internals, i haven’t even cleaned the inner barrel yet. with a rangefinder i was hitting torso sized targets at 210ft with .32g bbs. note that you can’t go higher than that as far as weight is concerned because my hopup is almost maxed out. stock you get 13:1 gears, absolutely bulletproof internals and an astonishing 26rps with an 11.1v lipo battery (note: you are going to need a mosfet if you plan on running 11.1v batteries often). with a 9.6v, i got 22rps with a still VERY responsive trigger. the gun itself is heavy and feels solid, though it doesn’t inspire throwing it on the ground or into a brick wall like some other replicas i’ve handled or owned. i have performed many HK slaps and the charging handle is still there. cyma brand magazines lock in and fit tighter than anything i’ve personally ever experienced and feed flawlessly, only wasting 2 bbs. the stock is modular enough for all kinds of arm lengths and fits me personally (5’6) at the second position with almost no wobble whatsoever.

as far as modifications go, the ONLY mod i have done is installing a gate aster. with the gate aster installed i’m getting 35rps with an 11.1 and a trigger comparable to a polarstar build. the aster in my opinion is really where this gun goes from an insane deal to borderline unbelievable. i paid $180 for the gun, $40 for shipping and $70 for the mosfet ($310 all together) and i can honestly say that in my 7 years of combined experience there truly is not a better bargain that can be found. stock, this gun outperforms most other replicas on the field and with the aster installed i’ve yet to find another that can keep up.

one of my favorite features is the included foam baffles and removable end cap in regards to the suppressor. remove the cap, slip the baffles onto a tracer unit and drop it into the can. you have successfully installed a tracer unit with no modifications to the gun or suppressor whatsoever. no more worrying about buying sketchy tracer adapters that were 3d printed from someone online, they literally integrated the solution into the rifle.

i play outdoor almost exclusively and this gun performs better than other guns at indoor joule ratings. hop is consistent and groupings are tight. i recorded a 5 inch spread at 120 feet. if you choose to buy the EF model or any of the new cyma or cybergun models, you’re wasting your money. this is my new favorite gun, my krytac spr mkII has officially become my backup/loaner rifle. i absolutely love this gun.

The build quality of the magazine is good, fits my cyma Mp5 with slight play in the magwell - because of this only 4 stars. The mag feeds very good and capacity seems to be as stated. I bought 4 so far and didn’t encounter any issues.

Ordered 7 of these for my Cyma MP5K PDW, all work, fit, and seat properly like a charm. Perfect mix of form and functionality, only issue I would say is 2 had a slight wobble on the baseplate, but was easily fixed with some electrical tape. Great for any standard MP5 style build.

      Pros:
      - Great looking midcaps
      - Light, but durable outer metal construction
      - Easy to grab and grip

      Cons:
      - Can be a bit long, as in the name, so make sure that's what you want when buying
      - Can be wiggly, seems to be manufacturer error, but more likely to not wiggle than to

Fits and feeds extremely well in my cyma cm.041sd6.

Also works works in my teammate's ICS MP5.

I installed a high torque motor, 13:1 gearset and a aditional DSG in my MP5, the mag holds up very well with 45 RPS.

I own 8 of them now, unfortunatelly the endplate of one of the mags was loose and rattles around a bit, i dont relly care about that though, since a bit of tape fixed this issue.

Overall i cant complain for 7€.

The MidCap Magazine for MP5 doesn't only fit for Cyma Replicas.
It can also be used in G&G and ICS Replicas.
Additionally it fits the Primary Airsoft GBB Adapters.

The external quality is good and the spring has a long lifetime.
A good choice if you need a reliable MidCap Magazine for MP5 Replicas.

Buyed for use in a ICS MP5A4 , that not allow Classic Army Magazines (they are slightly too large) Fit well , not fault in feeding bb , spring enough powerful , just not feed totally ( ex feed only 110 bb on 130 allowed ) but is my choice

Taiwangun is one of the few airsoft shops in the EU that has these kind of magazines in stock for a fair price.

      MP5 mid-cap for €7? Don't mind if I do!
It fits and feeds in my Cyma MP5SD5 so I can't complain.

To conclude; satisfied with the product and Taiwangun
