MK7 Sterling Submachine gun replica - Black [S&T]

We present a solid reproduction of the MK7 Machine Gun from S&T, an impressive counterpart to the famous Sten, further cementing its place as an icon among the British armed forces. Made from steel sheet, this weapon is a specialized model in the Sterling SMG family. The Sterling Mk.7 is essentially a modified version of the standard MK 5, equipped with a four-inch barrel and without a stock. The MK7 SMG Para-pistol Special variant was issued to commando units and civilian intelligence units, with some examples even used by the British SAS (Special Air Service).

Compact Construction

Continuing their commitment to the authenticity of the original model, S&T has meticulously recreated this submachine gun, paying special attention to detail. The external structure of the replica stands out for its robustness, thanks to the use of steel components. The upper part of the body, precisely cut from a single piece of steel, forms a solid foundation. Key elements, such as the front sight, rear sight, magazine housing, and ejection port cover, have been welded directly to the body, contributing to the overall durability.

Certain external features, made from slightly lighter material, include the simulated bolt, stock latches, rear cover of the replica, and the pistol grip with the GB housing. The only component made of polymer is the pistol grip, carefully designed with an anti-slip texture for a secure grip. Departing from historical accuracy, S&T focused on ergonomics by adding a 22mm Picatinny rail for mounting optical sights, facilitating faster and more effective shooting, as well as including a mock suppressor and an extended barrel.

Dedicated Gearbox

Inside the replica, a dedicated reinforced metal gearbox with a quick spring change system has been installed, ensuring an impressive muzzle velocity of about 365 FPS. Inside the gearbox, you will find a set of reinforced gears mounted on steel bearings, ensuring reliability and durability. A high-power motor with a short shaft is also used, increasing rotational force. Additionally, the adjustable hop-up chamber, combined with a 190mm inner barrel, allows this replica to offer precise shot accuracy over various distances.
