      I have a pt3 stock from older batches of 5KU, and to be honest this adapter part is definitely an improvement from the original adapter that was on before, while this one is made from steel, its slightly larger size improves fitment and causes less wobble, and less issues straight out of the bag. I would definitely recommend folks to use this rather than original adapter as in comparison to replacement part origi al was made out of butter.

      Just received this in the post. First thing you notice is the weight, it’s a seriously chunky piece, looks to be cast steel with a good quality tough matt grey finish, and the actual latch looks to be made from hardened steel. Really good quality, there’s no instructions on how to fit it but it’s quite simple. I just installed it on a ghk aks74u with a 5KU pt-1 stock. The fit is perfect, the lock up is rock solid. It blows away the stock aluminum latch. Lct’s version is more than double the price and from what I can tell it’s identical to the 5KU. Highly recommended upgrade!

      Great item, only the hole in the adapter was not big enough for the screw of my lct pt-1 stock but i could drill out the hole and make it fit easily. the quality of the metal is good so even with the bigger hole it stays tight
