I bought this for my rpk and it looks amazing. The little rails on the sides help me grip the gun more firmly. If you own a ak which has wood furniture and you want to add a foregrip you'll need to add this. I had to modify the hanguard just a bit to fit into place but other then that its great.

For the price and for the replicas it's meant to be paired with, it's really sturdily build. the upper handguard can be mounted even with the cyma 040 (VFC standard) series with some minor mods.

Odpowiedź sklepu:Worst part I've bought on Taiwangun. Doesn't fit at all on my Cyma CM.040. Don't bother, I modified the bottom part as some people suggested, worked okay, but the top part is useless, all wobly and unfitting. Don't buy this handguard. This handguard will not fit your replica model.

Great for the money, I think it fits almost any AK replica. I had to remove some of the outside on the lower part to get my tension ring to fit, because it has a sling mount opening on it.
Also you may need to drill a hole if you want your cleaning rod to fit. -

Very sturdy and it seems to be made all of polymers (except the screws and their locations) also it will not wobble at all once mounted..
Sadly it doesn't fit cyma models like the 040 series since it's "Maruilike" based construction so you will need a bit of adjustment (cleaning rod wouldn't fit and also the space for the sling ring would be too small)
Personally i thought it was more slim and it has some kind of a "chonky" feeling as compared to the original or the real ones -

Short summary: An affordable polymer handguard taken off Cyma 028-A that requires additional sawing and filing work to fit on a newer, more expensive version (Cyma 048)
You get what you pay for: a handguard made of a decent polymer, that is quite a sweat to file through, so I'd say it will not wear off in a game. However, getting it for my Cyma 048 as additional mounting space was a frustrating disappointment: it just wouldn't fit. First thing I've noticed while trying to fit it on, the QD/fixator mount in front of my 048 wouldn't go all the way down the barrel to fix itself.
The issue wasn't going away with fiddling around and instead of returning the item I decided to work with it further. Firstly, I made a notch on the front, to allow the QD mounting ring to cave in. I recommend doing it with a good knife, scraping the material away, rather than sawing it off or filing it down, as there is a lot of other subparts in the front and you don't want to damage them. Secondly, I sawed the back off it, the little protruding subpart in a 'u' shape, ~~7mm wide polymer. Filing it down and applying a little more force to get it onto the barrel, I finally had it: a tactical handguard for less than 10 Eur at the moment. I have no idea how to fit the upper part of it, the one that covers the gas tube, on my Cyma 048, but I wasn't looking for that initially.
In the result, it was looking decently good, for this cheap of price. Regular Picattiny attachments install at it with ease, no additional work required!
Pros:
+ Affordable price
+ Sturdy material
+ Has rails on top, down and the sides
Cons:
- If you have a newer model of the AK series, you'll have to manually modify the handguard in order for it to fit
- Due to manual work, the looks may suffer and it obviously wouldn't compare to factory-fit ones
In conclusion, I'd still buy it for the cheap price and just a few hours of work to make it fit.

Sadly, I can not say that it fits. I accidentally bought this for my CYMA AK-74. After I received it I saw that it was for AKM/AK47s though.
I can say however, just by inspection of the part, that it seems to be quite solid and it offers a bunch of mounting points. It is however entirely made out of (what I assume to be) polymer. The only metal parts are the screws for the small 4 cm long rails on the sides of the lower handguard which can be attached/detached.
It doesn't bent/doesn't bent easily and seems pretty tough. But I can't say anything about it's durability on the field since I do not own a AKM/47 to mount it on. So I can not for sure say that it is durable in use and therefore I can not say whether or not it is brittle and would break or shatter on impact. (I'm also not willing to find out since I am planning to attach it onto a AKM at some point, so no handguard smashing for me) -

This handrail is not meant for installation on replica's with a sling mount on the retention plate.
You can remove the plastic around it and it will fit snug. The piece of rail on the left(where i mount my light) still blocks a normal AK sling, but its easy to find another place to put a small loop of paracord to for your sling.
Besides that its a great and cheap way to get some rail on your AK.
I fitted a vertical grip, pistol light and a PEQ box on it, with nothing on top.
For a part this inexpensive(not cheap) i give it 5 stars.

Ordered it for a friend to use with his CYMA replica.
At first, it didnt want to fit correctly, but after some careful adjustments and some patience it fits nice and correctly on the replica.
The bottom rail is great for vertical grips while the top can be used as a red dot mount,
The plastic it's made out of is great quality, doesn't want to break even after falling on it. -

Bought two of these for my Cyma 040C and D. Needed to cut off a bit on the lower handguard where the sling loop is situated to make it fit but nothing a Dremel couldn't fix. Now they sit perfectly.
For the money, 8'ish euro, this is a cheap and cooler way to put on attachments on AK's then your 13 in a dozen Zenitco handguards as these are based on TDI and MVRI SKTBR handguards. Looks kosher. -

It is good, like it fits perfectly but the top part of it a bit wobbly but it's still good quality and my foregrip on it looks so good. Really recommend this product for anyone else that is using cyma AKs.

Material are great, tough and looks precise, but for my cm.031 it was hard to install (in time when I bought it, I didn't find this information at description). I had to do small changes and after that it fits good. Now I can easily install any equipment on my AK74.

Great part, but had to cut off a little bit of plastic to fit, but since it's my mistake by not checking compatability I won't be taking off a star. Great part, fast shipping. Highly recommended, but make sure to check compatability

The handguard is pretty good, and the rail attachments are good. It feels solid and not like cheap plastic. The small side rails are removable, and in case you do not use some sort of a grip attachment, it's easy to remove them for better handling. Attachments also sit securely, so it does the job as a tactical handguard.
That being said, I don't know about the original Cyma model this fits on, but I had to make some modifications to fit this on my E&L AKMS Gen 2.
I had bought the cyma gas tube, as it is near impossible to take the original handguard off of the original gas tube.
The first modification was to cut off a bit of material from the front of the lower handguard, so that the front cap would fit on. In this model, that cap sits partially inside the handguard, and my cap has a small wing on the side which is the front sling mount. This prevented me from mounting it on, as originally there is no cut for that part.
Second was a small slot I had to cut in the part that fits in the main body. This is to allow the dummy cleaning rod to fit in, as otherwise it is blocked from sitting in all the way.
All in all great handguard, but you may need to modify it it to fit your particular model. -

Fast shipping as always within EU. Fits cyma CM40 series as a glove and gives it it so deserved tacticool look. Material is sturdy, good to grab and hold. I use it for a flashlight and a red dot. Planning on painting it all :)

Ordered for my CM 031 (AK74) replica.Advantages:The material is solid, it does not wobble. The rails are decent!Disadvantages:The lower part of the handguard did not had enough place for the front sling ring, so I had to saw a little piece of it out to make it fit perfectly. After that it fits well.
