AK long tubular handguard - Black [5KU]

I updated my CM.040C with this handguard. The assembly process took longer than expected, but the fit is completely solid, wobble free and there is no gap between the reciever and the handguard. The only difference, compared to the picture provided on site, is that the angle of the handguard - for me at least - follows the angle of the bottom of the reciever, and not the outer barrel. Still looks really cool, and absolutely solid.

Fits perfectly on cyma cm040.
To mount it, the front sight has to be taken off (by removing the two pins and also the thread adapter beneath the flash hider, which is secured with a grub screw.
The rail itself is not 100 % true to the original since it misses the removable bottom part (this is why the front sight has to be taken off while mounting) and the cutouts for tightening the inner screws (can only be done without the gas tube installed).
For the price, the quality is good tho. While mounted it has no play at all. Comes with markings on the bottom, that look OK, but are not true to the original.

Solid build quality with a classy mat black finish. The VS-24 Logo is a nice touch. It weighs about the same if not less than the standard hand guard.

In terms of usability i want to nominate the VS-24 as the absolutely best rail for a AK74M due to the fact that you get a crazy amount of mounting points similarly to a m4 styled hand guard.

Aesthetically i am very pleased with the look and it ties my rifle to the modern era instead of looking like it came straight out of Afghanistan 79'

I have recommended this hand guard to all my AK friends and i will buy another one for a future build.

Everything needed for Installation except a hex wrench

Not as good as the Original Handguard but also it costs only 1/4 the price of it which makes it a viable option for people on a budget. Material is also very solid

Installation is quite difficult if you dont have a hex wrench with a ball head. Doesnt fit an E&L AK without HEAVY modification. I needed to cut the whole bottom front rail part (10cm) to get it fitted. Also you need to modify the receiver connector of the handguard.
