      For being metal, the panels are surprisingly light and add next to no additional weight onto the replicas. The back of the panels is completely flat, which means you have bit more freedom in the positioning. Texture feels very nice. From the pictures I was a bit afraid that the surface would be sharp/rough and cut into my hands and gloves but it feels smooth and comfortable with a good amount of grip.

Protective panel for the handguard in the MLOCK and KeyMod systems.
Its texture ensures a firm grip, especially when wearing gloves.
It is made of aluminum, which makes it very durable.
