      The pouches were purchased to hold gas G36 magazines, which are larger and bulkier than other magazine types.
      They were PERFECT fit. They also fit larger radio units no problem.
      There are velcro patches to keep the flaps permanently open, so you can use these as magazine pouches, or to close them to protect the contents.
      They seem sturdy and well built. If you plan on using them to keep 2x M4 mags, they will just barely fit 2x BlueBox midcaps, so I recommend packing them with mags and leaving them over night or two for them to stretch a little bit and make it easier on the gameplay field.
