      Nice historic replica. The magazines are of decent capacity, nearly enough for two loads. Inner barrel is 120mm I believe so accuracy is decent, obviously hop up rubber is standard so ML barrel (you will need a longer one as the standard WE barrels for historic replicas are shorter at the hop up end) and a ML hop up rubber would improve it. You need a degree in mechanical engineering to take it apart though, not easily strippable. Auto rate is unreal and puts smile on the face, the mag is gone in seconds. You really understand why would you need a stock on a real steal if using auto. Stock is plastic but does the job nicely. Not the most ergonomic pistol but that is a 100 year design for you. Quality is decent, feels much better and robust than other WE historic replicas. I couldnt find any faults, only positives. It is something different alright.

      Very nice, well made pistol, it feels good in hand and has a good weight, action is smooth and bolt cycles properly, magazines are easy to refill with gas and empty as needed, the stock despite being plastic looks and feels nice and sturdy. Overall a very fun pistol to shoot and I highly recommend it.
      I would also recommend getting at least one or two spare magazines as they can run out quickly but luckily they can also be very easily and quickly reloaded with a speedloader unlike with some other pistols.

      It's a lovely replica. The finish is by far superior to the KWC. Rate of Fire on auto is hilarious, allthough totaly impractical.

      My only gripe is the long mag. It's just so ugly in comparison to the short mag you have to buy separately. That said, if you are going to actually use the replica in a game, you kinda need the longer mag. The short one doesn't hold enoug gas.

      Also, the stock is a bit chunky. It should / could be a bit thinner at the joint.

The WE M712 replica is a faithful reproduction of the German C96 pistol, used by armed forces during World War II. Its construction, featuring a metal slide, frame, and functional Blow-Back system, ensures excellent realism and durability, while the imitation wooden grip panels emphasize the historical character of the weapon. The replica offers two firing modes (SEMI, AUTO) and stands out with precise craftsmanship, as nearly all components, except for the grip panels and holster-stock, are made of metal.

Model History

The M712, known in the English-speaking world as the "Broomhandle" due to its distinctive grip shape, is a select-fire variant of the German C96 pistol. The first prototypes of this pistol were developed by Spanish gunmakers in 1927-1928, but full production began in Germany in 1932 under the name “Schnellfeuer" (Fast Fire). Between 1932 and 1936, limited numbers of this model were produced, with some units supplied to the Wehrmacht during World War II under the designation M712.

The external construction of this replica is predominantly made of high-quality metal, providing durability and balance. The frame, slide, outer barrel, and sights - both the fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight - are accurately reproduced to deliver excellent aesthetic appeal. The grip panels and holster-stock are made from high quality plastic that mimics wood, maintaining the classic design. The holster-stock allows for storing the replica but cannot accommodate a high-capacity magazine.

Internal Construction

Inside the replica, a Hop-Up system is implemented to significantly enhance range and shooting precision by stabilizing the trajectory of the BBs. The mechanism is adjustable, allowing the user to fine-tune the performance to their preferences. The included metal magazine holds 26 rounds of 6mm BBs and uses green gas to power the replica. Thanks to the advanced valve design, projectiles reach speeds of up to 300FPS, making the replica not only visually realistic but also highly effective in performance.
