The Hard Kick Kit 3DM for CYMA CGS GBBR replicas is a tuning set created to enhance the felt recoil of gas replicas equipped with a blowback system. The set combines a rigid nylon element, an additional steel weight and a hard stock tube spacer, allowing the return system to work with a more noticeable and defined impulse. It is designed for tuning CYMA CGS gas replicas and adjusting the operating characteristics of the buffer assembly.

Construction and design

The Hard Kick Kit replaces the original soft rubber damping part with a rigid nylon component. This changes the way the buffer contacts the rear section of the stock tube, resulting in a sharper and more distinct feel during the firing cycle.

The included steel weight increases the moving mass of the system. This setup may strengthen the recoil impulse and help reduce potential bolt bounce during operation.

GBBR replica tuning

In a GBBR replica, gas drives the movement of the bolt carrier, the firing cycle and the blowback action. Replacing selected buffer components allows the user to adjust how the replica behaves after each shot without changing the external configuration of the rifle.

According to the manufacturer, the added mass may slightly affect performance in lower temperatures. The steel weight can be left out if lower-temperature operation is a priority, while the rest of the kit will still change the recoil feel.

Installation and use

Installation requires removing the buffer and buffer spring from the replica, disassembling the buffer and replacing the original end piece with the component included in the kit. The original rubber spacers inside the stock tube should also be removed and replaced with the supplied hard spacer.

After assembly, the user should check the alignment of the holes in the buffer body and the new end piece, as well as the correct placement of the spring. The manual states that slight movement of the weights inside the buffer after assembly is normal.

Compatibility

The Hard Kick Kit 3DM is intended for CYMA CGS GBBR replicas.

The set is not compatible with the Lightning series.
