      Fits just fine on my 1911 and kinda works on a 2011 hicapa. Also fits on my pit viper but the slide doesnt lock back when the mag is empty, probably needs some filing to work but other than that its fine

      I had to buy this part after mine broke! Even though it is a good part in itself, Army Armament's 1911 design makes it really easy to break them. It works thanks to a small piece that sticks out in the gun's grip and that get caught by the mag when empty. This small piece is very thin and fragile despite its metal construction. Watch out!
      Otherwise, the part itself does its job quite well and is just a replacement part.

      Basically, the spaiater part fits the Army models perfectly, no breakage occurred, but it wears a lot. After 1 year of active use, I replaced it with the R27 replica, the internal hanging part failed. It can also be installed in KJW models.
