Obviously you also need the multi gas magazine but the cyma CGS multi gas system is MWS compatible and I'm using it on a Salvo Precision MCX Spear LT V2. The system works flawlessly in semi but I can't get it to work correctly in full auto. The reason may be the refresh rate of my regulator or the flow rate of the outlet valve in the magazine or the reservoir in the magazine which is necessarily smaller than a standard gas mag. After the first shot or two the power drops off dramatically. Either way 99% of the time with a GBBR you shoot in semi anyway.
With all that said the fact you can HPA tap a single mag and then just change the BB tube is a great idea. The BB tubes extremely affordable I have bought 20, each holds 30 rounds and you can easily fit 4 into an MP5 mag pouch. I also bought the 8 Fields MP5 Hybrid Mag Pouch for this purpose which can hold all 20 tubes. GBBR mags are expensive, heavy and unreliable in cold weather. Ok maybe you loose a bit of the realism when your changing tubes instead of mags but I would rather the gun function and save huge amounts of money and weight as well as being able to carry much more BBs.
Apart from the full auto issue which may not be connected to the system but may be my regulator the only other issue is the ejection button on the bottom of the mag is basically impossible to operate with gloves on and the force with which the BB tubes eject is a little weak - meaning they don't eject very far making them difficult to remove with gloves on. I plan on 3D printing a larger ejection button that protrudes a little bit from the bottom of the mag to solve the first issue, the second may require a different modification. However neither issue has put me off this system.
I am in Ireland and the power limit is 1 Joule, I use the system with 0.4g BB's which are easily hopped by a GBBR especially when HPA powered and I have to say there is a very noticeable range and accuracy advantage over my AEG's and running Green Gas in the same rifle. This is a cheap system to get into and well worth a try. A multi gas mag (which comes with a BB Tub and 6 additional BB tubes can be bought for the price of 2 standard gas M4 mags.
It's also worth noting that if you don't HPA tap the mag via the dedicated port you can use the cyma CGS multi gas mag as a standard gas magazine. So really trying the system out is not a waste of money either way.
