The CYMA EMG Daniel Defense M4A1 Platinum is an AR-platform electric airsoft rifle developed through a collaboration between CYMA Platinum and EMG under the official Daniel Defense license. Featuring a full metal construction, GEN-2 V2 gearbox, and a programmable Eshooter ETU, the replica supports high rates of fire, fast trigger response, and extensive configuration options. Construction and design

The replica is primarily manufactured from aluminum. This material is used for the upper and lower receiver, handguard, outer barrel, buffer tube, fire selector, magazine release, trigger, charging handle, and folding iron sights.

The rifle features a 12.5-inch outer barrel paired with a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel. The aluminum 12-inch Daniel Defense M4A1 handguard allows the installation of additional accessories according to user preferences.

A Picatinny rail located on the upper receiver provides space for compatible optics and red dot sights. The design is complemented by a 6-position Crane stock and an ergonomic pistol grip made from durable polymer.

The replica is equipped with folding iron sights, a muzzle device mounted on a 14 mm CCW thread, and a sling attachment plate for tactical sling installation.

Performance

The pneumatic assembly consists of CNC-machined aluminum components, including sealed piston and cylinder heads as well as a sealed nozzle. The piston is equipped with a full steel tooth rack, while a bearing-equipped steel spring guide improves overall gearbox operation.

The replica also features a QSC quick spring change system, allowing spring replacement without complete gearbox disassembly.

Accuracy and adjustment

A rotary-style hop-up chamber allows precise adjustment of BB trajectory and consistent settings retention.

The 6.03 mm precision inner barrel supports shot consistency and improved grouping performance at medium ranges.

Eshooter ETU electronics

The replica is equipped with a programmable Eshooter ETU system that expands configuration possibilities. The unit supports BURST and BINARY firing modes, five levels of pre-cocking adjustment, and the Active Brake function, helping stabilize gearbox operation after each shot.

The system also provides motor stall protection, battery discharge protection, and low-voltage and over-voltage protection. The ETU is compatible with High Torque, High Speed, and brushless motors. Programming is performed directly through the replica.
