Cylinder head "PROTECTOR" [GATE]

GATE EON Protector Cylinder Head is a tuning component for the pneumatic system of AEG replicas, designed for standard V2 and V3 gearboxes. The construction is based on CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminum, two shock-absorbing bumpers rated 40°ShA and 60°ShA and precise nozzle-to-guide fit, supporting air seal, stable system operation and reduced stress on the gearbox shell. The model is prepared for standard and high-performance AEG configurations.

Construction and design

The cylinder head is made from aircraft-grade aluminum using precise CNC machining. This construction supports accurate part dimensions and proper fit with the cylinder, nozzle and piston head.

EON Protector uses two shock-absorbing bumpers rated 40°ShA and 60°ShA. Their purpose is to reduce shocks generated during pneumatic system operation, which may support longer gearbox shell life and reduce piston head wear.

Air seal and system operation

The nozzle guide is designed to support correct nozzle alignment with the cylinder head. The precise fit of these components helps maintain the air seal of the pneumatic system and repeatable replica operation during firing.

The EON Protector Cylinder Head helps reduce the risk of BB feeding issues known as “mid-cap syndrome". The construction does not require AEG replica modification and can be used with different spring power levels.

Compatibility

The cylinder head is compatible with standard AEG cylinders, standard piston heads and standard o-rings. It fits standard V2 and V3 gearboxes, allowing it to be used in many popular electric replica configurations.

The model works with standard nozzles, and the recommended nozzle diameter is 5.40 mm. The product has been tested on popular replica brands such as Krytac, Arcturus, CYMA, Specna Arms, King Arms, G&G, APS, G&P, JG, Tokyo Marui and VFC.

Version 3

Version 3 of the EON Protector Cylinder Head has been improved for compatibility and airflow. Enlarged centering holes make it easier to fit the head to different gearbox shells, while the widened tappet plate slot supports cooperation with tappet plates from other manufacturers.

The increased bumper diameter helps reduce air loss during compression. The modified chamfer leading into the cylinder head tube supports faster and more organized airflow in the pneumatic system.
