Cylinder head Mk.II for V2/3 - 70sh SHORT [EPeS AIRSOFT]

EPeS Mk.II 70sh SHORT cylinder head is a tuning part designed for V2 and V3 gearboxes. The model uses a short 17 mm nozzle guide, H + PTFE surface finish and 70 sh PU impact pad, supporting stable nozzle movement, pneumatic system air seal and reliable BB feeding. The SHORT variant is intended for configurations with nozzles shorter than 20 mm, such as EVO III ASG.

Construction and design

The cylinder head is made of EN AW 7075-T6 aluminium, while the H + PTFE surface finish supports smooth nozzle movement on the guide and improves surface wear resistance. The increased nozzle guide diameter helps reduce play between the nozzle and the cylinder head, supporting proper nozzle alignment with the hop-up chamber and inner barrel.

The Mk.II construction uses a longer tappet plate travel compared to standard cylinder heads. This allows the use of a nozzle up to 1 mm longer, if the replica configuration and tappet plate allow it, supporting a tighter fit between the nozzle and hop-up bucking during firing.

Installation and compatibility

The model is designed as a universal cylinder head for V2 and V3 gearboxes from different manufacturers. The internal gearbox mounting system uses M3 set screws, which help stabilize the cylinder head inside the shell and limit unwanted movement during operation.

The mounting pin holes are designed to fit RetroArms gearbox shells properly.

Impact pad

The 70sh version uses a polyurethane PU impact pad with 70 sh hardness. This element is responsible for cushioning the piston head impact and may support AOE adjustment depending on the replica configuration.
