There is some some wobble when the magazine is properly seated, but that's to be expected as of all airsoft replica AKs. -

The material quality also seems good, but the first game will reveal how it performs in practice. -

It has a durable design, dispenses BBs well, and is used in AK replicas from many different companies. I don't think a mags needs to know more than that.

Hibátlanul működik. Jó ár érték arány. Teljesen fém ház realisztikusabb tapintást biztosít. Megéri ráfizetni azt a plusz pár eurot, egy műanyag kivitelhez képest. -

Feeds flawlessly and it actually fits in the mag well better than magazines that originally came with the replica! Bought 5 for an excellent price. Will buy more in the future if needed! Although I suspect these will last me a long while yet!

Chead , durable and lice looking ! there you have it -
- 03.01.2025 wrote:Does the job well enough. Feeds prefectly. There is a bit of side to side wobble as all other mags, but it is no problem for it to function correctly. Should have gotten more now that I think of it. Use it with a CYMA 0.40C

I purchased three of them, and with minimal home modifications, they fit perfectly into my Cyma 040C. Once adjusted, they perform consistently and are an excellent value for their price. Highly recommended for anyone using compatible AK replicas!

The Cyma CM040C is a reliable and durable airsoft replica based on the AK74M model. Its full-metal construction and robust polymer stock provide a premium feel while standing out with its realistic design. The durable internal components, such as the metal gearbox, ensure long-lasting performance and consistent reliability. It’s an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced players looking for a dependable and accurate weapon. In terms of value for money, it is one of the best options in the AK series. -
- 29.12.2024 wrote:I don`t have much experience to compare, but the platform is solid. Works great out of the box. Absolutely crisp assembly, no rattles and creaks except gas tube cover and cleaning rod. CYMA delivers on this one quite strong. Installed railed cover in less than a minute and paired with a red dot. Just get enough mid caps and be done with.

- 25.12.2024 wrote:With this price point, I could say nothing bad. In most cases, it works pretty well. The magazine itself is lightweight and easy to carry. The overall quality is not as good as PTS magazine (much more expensive as well). When inserting CYMA AK, it has slight wobbling that could resolved by easily using electrical tape.

- 19.11.2024 wrote:These mags are incredibly light weight, but not to the point where it feels like a toy. It does, however, make me question its durability a bit. Though for the price you pay for each mag, I honestly cant complain. I just wish it would sit a bit more snug like their drum mags do but over all, it works nicely. You might have to put a bit of electrical take under the back catch if you want to use it with an AirTac adapter like I am.

Solid build quality and good materials.
Shoots hard out of the box.
Would really recommend.
Also very good to upgrade.
And a lot of aftermarket compatibility because its a vfc clone. -

- 02.01.2024 wrote:It was great on the last game. I never had a problem with it.
I can specifically recommend this replica to those who like the Ak-series. I already owned a secound-hand replica but it also served excellently for years (I didn't service it, only the barrel was cleaned). Also, I think the grip is mandatory, because holding it for hours is not very comfortable. In terms of price, it's a very good replica, except for the forebrain, and gun-stock all metal on it. It's hearbox is v3, and very good, hop-up easily adjustable. Unfortunately, I only know the version weakened to 360fps, but I consider that to be enough. I don't recommend it for cqb, because of it's huge size, I have hit it sometimes and paint was dameged. But for mil-sim is a good mate. But i thin it need a 170cm (heigts) for who want buy it. So it is a great replica the high quality of cyma. -
- 16.12.2023 wrote:I bought an airsoft gun model CM.040C, standard 400, black in color. The airsoft gun is unique and works perfectly. The filler is easy to remove, the recharging is fast. There was a battery in the kit, but it doesn't fit in the dedicated battery compartment, so you have to buy a separate battery. I bought BATTERY LI-PO 1000MAH 7.4V 20/40C, but you can choose different of course. Now that's my dream airsoft gun!

Better than the oroginal mags for more more less money. Also fits perfectly for Cyma aks too. Feeds good. No wobble. Not fragile. Good texture not shiney.

- 17.04.2023 wrote:Lot of feeding issues whit these magazines...
the magazines did not feed, and if they did, they gave two bb's at once. The weapon was a Cyman AK47. A drum magazine has been used in the gun without any problems, so the problem is definitely in the magazines. -
- 12.04.2023 wrote:Short summary: must-have for an entry level magazine.
The magazine itself looks very real and is pleasant to hold in your hand. To my surprise, it was noticeably bigger, than an M4 mag. There aren't any bad seams or badly produced parts to it, everything is in it's place. I have used it already in a few games, and it's really sturdy and houses a *lot* of bbs. No malfunctions or misfeeds, all three magazines worked perfectly. On semi-auto fields it is almost not needed to reload more, than once per ten minutes of active gameplay, as it has half the capacity of a regular hi-cap mag. Another thing to note is that due to the curved shape of an AK mag it is tricky to get in a STANAG magazine pouch, but still possible.
Pros:
+ Good looks
+ Decent production quality
+ Very affordable price
+ Weight that balances perfectly with the manufacturer's guns
Cons:
- Is a little wobbly in a Cyma 048 (is fixable if tape is applied to inside of the gun itself)
In summary, I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend much and still get a good magazine. -

On a note, it did fit snug in my LCT aks74u, tighter than the magazine it came with.
Must definitely buy more. -

- 17.01.2023 wrote:After filing the front lip fits in my Arcturus AT-AK04. It wobbles slightly, but less than the Fuxing 170rd mag and its not problematic. The only downside is that plastic is noticeably thinner than other mags, but its price is pretty low, so it makes sense.

- 12.01.2023 wrote:What can I say, it's great. I spent months trying to figure out what kind of Airsoft gun I wanted and the AK's had always been on the top of my list. It took a while to decide on which model to get and there was a lot of back and forth but now that I actually got the AEG in my hands and have shot and been shot by it I can say it's great. The thing feels super sturdy too, it feels like it could withstand anything that's thrown at it. If you are a beginner (like myself) then I definitely would recommend this AEG, although, I would not recommend this if you are getting this for like your little cousin or something since it is pretty big and heavy. Anyways 10/10 on CYMA's part
10/10 on Taiwangun for how quickly they shipped it out to me (I'm in the United States). -

- 14.12.2022 wrote:Outside of the Platinum line, the CYMA CM-040 series may very well be the best product you can buy from them.
Let's talk features:
Gearbox: It has one
Stock: It folds, isn't that nifty?
Attachments: Nyet, rifle is fine
Battery Space: All the way to the gas block
Rails: No, but who needs optics when you have eyes?
It even comes with two cleaning rods, so you can clean your barrel while making a s'more with the other one!
In all seriousness, the CM-040 series is one of the most popular CYMAs for a reason. First off, it's VFC spec, so it is sturdier and easier to take apart. The construction is full of steel, which is great and aids some realistic weight. I was shocked at how sturdy the gun was: Not even the folding stock rattled when shaken. Speaking of which, the locking mechanism seems to be much better than the D-Boys, since it doesn't come loose. Shoots strong and great, zero complaints about the ability to sling plastic!
Pros:
-Price
-Upgrade Capability/Aftermarket
-Construction
-Realistic Exterior
-Lots of Battery Space for an AK
I think CYMA is now on par with LCT and E&L with this gun. I can't wait to finish my Crimea impression with it!

Great product overall, would recommend.

- 28.04.2022 wrote:Straight out of the box it shoots really good. Its accurate and at an amazing 400fps. The overall performance it gives and the quality this gun have for under 200€ is just unbelievable. The only downside it has is the hi cap mag. I would recommend getting a mid cap thats a bit more reliable. Also the weight is neither too heavy to handle and definitely not lightweight. It gives the realistic weight of the original ak74 and you can also control it pretty well.
Looks: 9/10
Performance: 8,5/10
Quality: 8/10
Downside: hi-cap mag -
- 13.04.2022 wrote:The internals on this is phenomenal, but the QC still seems to be a bit lacking. I dont know if its a seal issue or if the spring is weak, but i selected the 430fps one and it never goes over 400 with the hopup off. With hop applied its even lower. Other than that, the gun is perfect. The metal is steel and the polymer furniture feels really solid, stock does not wobble at all. Very satisfied with the build quality and low weight of the replica.

- 11.04.2022 wrote:Works great, looks great. For the price it's a clear recommendation from me. It looks and feeds well in my LCT LCK-15 EBB.
As always with cyma their magazines are cheap, reliable and rigid.
The only thing I can complain about is the weight, I would like for it to have a bit more heft to it, but I suppose that's more of a personal opinion. -
- 09.03.2022 wrote:A solid rifle with excellent potential from cyma, good accuracy and range out of the box and easy and intuitive to control. I've left 4 stars as after 2 outings (around 1200~1600rds expended) running a 7.4v lipo, the trigger became intermittent due to some mechanical or electrical fault which I couldn't trace with the gearbox apart, I tried fitting a Perun MOSFET (had one sitting for another build) and this cured the unexplained issue. Since then I've put over 5000 rounds through the RIF and it hasn't missed a beat. All in all a solid gun, but phantom QC issues on what is essentially a beginner spec/priced RIF is not ideal.

I love everything about the 040 only con is its a bit heavy and long. But then again i did want a ak47.
If you want it a bit smaller there other options. But for this amount it was a great buy! Thanks taiwanguns -
- 11.01.2022 wrote:The epitome of bang for your buck, the externals as well as the internals hold up well and the replica is cheap as can be.
Positive:
- tough as nails
- good looking with a nice finish
- very accurate out of the box
- cheap and reliable
Negative:
- flash hider is heavy and reduces the balance (removable)
-shoots too powerfully for indoor games, so opt for a changed spring (no quick change spring)
- slightly heavy for a young player or inexperienced one

- 28.09.2021 wrote:Bought a couple of these mags, since i dislike highcaps.Advantages:
You get the cool AK74/5.45mm magazine look, but they are not made of durable material. They are cheap, you can really buy a good bulk of these and not care if they break or get lost in the heat of battle.Disadvantages:
Easy to change if you have spare magazine shells or highcaps you want to change to midcaps, just hammer out 2 pins and pull the whole inner magazine out, be in mind the bottom plate comes of too when doing this.Shells break with ease, i had one mag i tried to load but the front anchor broke off, i didn't even pry it in, just did a standard reload. -
- 18.05.2021 wrote:You will love this one, its acvurate, reliable and as realistic as you can get. Highly upgradeable.Disadvantages:Needs shimming done out of the box but otherwise everything is perfect. I do not recommend a disassembly if not a tech or at least till you have viewed some guides.
