Just a short review of the WellPro AK12 magazine. I use two of them for six months, and they work perfectly with my CYMA 029U. I really like the high capacity, and the plastic quality feels really solid and durable. Definitely a great choice! -

Nice budget ak, good for starters
It packs a punch
It feels good on hand on par with cyma
The wood is better quality than i expected

- 15.04.2025 wrote:Okay mag does what it should the way it should, I ussed it in 2 fights w 0 issues so far. I used it on my Arcturus AK12 its not compatible out the box but very little sanding w a dremmel did the trick(only shortening the bottom of the front lip that catches the front inside of the magwell.

- 11.04.2025 wrote:Given what it is and for how much, you can't ask any more. It's a simple mag that works and does the job as expected. It having a push follower to try and minimize the amount of BBs lost is a neat bonus.

- 29.03.2025 wrote:Hi! I tried it on the advice of a friend, now I have ten of them. A little tuning with a knife or a file and it fits perfectly on the AK12 from Arcturus. The only thing is that it fits without a click))) For this money, I think it's impossible to find a 180 bb magazine. Tested, I recommend.

- 12.03.2025 wrote:Beatifull replica, full metal and wood grips. I have this replica for 3 years now. and bought it on sale for 95 euros. And it has been extremely reliable. I only changed the bucking, for a maple leaf one. the replica still works great since the day it came out of the box.

- 05.01.2025 wrote:They're really nice magazines! They feel really solid even though they're made out of polymer, and the base plate is re-enforced with metal so that it's more durable. Genuinely the most ergonomic feelings mags I've ever seen.

- 10.12.2024 wrote:Great mag for the ak-12. Its cheap, strong and works well, its feeds bb's really well. Hasnt jammed once. Ive dropped it already a bit and there isnt even a mark on it. I bought 3 of these as they are mid caps and dont hold as much as high caps but its worth it so you dont have to wind the mag, would recommend

And it was really cheap at a bargain price!

- 22.10.2024 wrote:Very lightweight, might feel cheap in the hands, but for the price, they're perfect. They feed very well, and have a slightly extended follower to minimise BB loss when pulling the mag out.
Approximate real amount of BBs is 168 out of the 180 advertised, which is 93.3%. Kudos! There are more expensive mags out there that don't reach that percentage of advertised capacity. -
- 12.08.2024 wrote:Magazine is stated to go with the arcturus aks but it doesn't fit in the AT-AK12K PE specifically that I ordered these with, I had to file them down to make them fit which voids your right to return and warranty, I had to fiddle a while on each mag to solve double feeding issues. I'm sure it works amazingly in other replicas but not the arcturus AK line without fiddling.

- 21.07.2024 wrote:I think for this price this is a very good replica!
For a 145 euros (when i bought it) you get a very nice ak, with no wobbly parts, and a decent FPS. I wouldn't recomended it as a starter gun, beacuse it dosen't come with cleaning rod and any nice quality box. But this is why it's only a 145 euros, and still a good replica. In my opinion its better then the cyma version, becouse of the price. One thing I would recomend is to buy a better hopup, couse the one it comes is not the best, and you not going to be that accured, but it's not that important. And maybe a sling couse the gun can get a bit heavy after holding it for a while, but pay attencion to that not every AK sling is good for it, beacuse in the front it has a very little hole for a sling. I had two games with it and it preformed without problems.
Overall this is a very solid, good preforming replica, and I recommend buying it. -

- 06.07.2024 wrote:The replica is very solid, no wobbly parts. With the 390 fps it shoots around 400 with a decent battery. At the triggerguard the internals are exposed, but its not seenable only, if you look from a specific angle. The replica is not the heavyest , but I would reccomend to buy a sling, cuz you might have ro hold it for hours. This is my first full metal + wood replica, and for this price its a I'm very happy with it. Fornmenthis is my second replica, and its really grate for that.

- 29.05.2024 wrote:This is none of the best magazine for AK available on the market. There is a mistake in description. The mag capacity is 180 bbs not 120.
I own 4 mags, all work well, no jams.
I am happy with this purchase.
Thanks to taiwangun for fast delivery! -
- 31.10.2023 wrote:Very tight, no rattle at all.
I only changed the magazine with a steel one.
I had a little problem with stock locking position easy solved.
Overall a good aquisition.
Sadly I didn't knew that battery is coming without charger. Now I need to buy a charger from somewhere else.

- 17.10.2023 wrote:Solid feel with full metal and real wood construction AKS-47UN for very affordable price. I shoots brilliantly considering replicas barrel length and price. In my replica there is absolutely no wobble in the folding stock nor anywhere else. It takes all of my Cyma and Arcturus magazines but does not take LCT drum magazine.
Only negatives are about assembly quality (in my example): as front of the gun is slightly misaligned iron sights are fully useless, stock is slightly misaligned and does not naturally lock in the folded position (it can however be manually locked) and selector required disassembly and reassembly for it to feel right.
I do recommend this replica, however it might require some work and a optic on a sight rail to become fully effective in the field. -
- 31.01.2023 wrote:Steel receiver, real wood foregrip. The rear sight base and the latching mechanism (both open and closed) and the hinge of the stock are made of pot metal. A little wobble on the stock.
Internally good parts, motor does well with the stock spring (~400 fps with .2 bbs). Ventilated aluminium piston head with full steel teeth piston. 8 mm ball bearings seem to be the weak point, I tried to replace them with the cross-pattern steel bushings, but they are too high, so the gearbox could not be closed properly. I only replaced the stock nozzle with an O-ring one and the cut off lever with a steel one. I can't review the factory hop up bucking, as I replaced it with a Maple Leaf Monster.
Additionally, the transparent hopup chamber makes it easy to upgrade with a tracer unit keeping the replica short without the use of a tracer silencer. -
- 22.11.2022 wrote:Perfect for the price. The main parts are made of iron, the workmanship of the wooden parts is good, it is well put together, it does not wobble or rattle. It's a solid, durable piece, it won't hurt if you drop it. Perfect for Cqb.

- 10.11.2022 wrote:Shoots fairly accurate, looks and feels amazing with the real steel and wood housing. I mounted a rails to be able to mount a sight and it looks great now. Still the old school feeling with the wood really completes the look and feel

- 26.03.2022 wrote:They are certainly a lot nicer than they used to be back in the days of DBOYS. Still not quite CYMA level, but they are cheaper than CYMA for the equivalent gun, a few little tweaks and they are potentially cracking pieces of kit. The build seemed very stable and solid enough that I would have been hard pressed to tell the difference between Double Bell and CYMA.
