      The gun has an ABS body, but metal internals for the gearbox, metal lower receiver and ABS magwell. If you're in the US it's a good idea to get a charger made for US plugs and a battery, it can handle 7.4v Lipo. Overall this gun is very solid for the price and you won't find a new one cheaper anywhere else. If you're looking to get started and want to learn how to upgrade airsoft guns this is a great place to start, though the external parts can be hard to come by. The LCT g3 series would be the higher end version of you're looking for a G3 but that's another $200 compared to this gun. I'm very impressed with how the gun came stock, but will be looking to replace the externals with metal so that it'll last longer.

      Pros:
      Right out the the box I ordered the standard 350 pfps which was shooting about 348 and reaches what you would expect with its accuracy.
      Easy accessible battery connection from the stock.
      Free top rail to add optics on (pretty sturdy).
      A nice feeling rubber pistol grip.

      Cons:
      Plastic outer receiver.
      Left side only selector switch.
      Not much of a con but not trusting slapping the plastic bolt release(could break).
      Aside from the cons, you get what you paid for at a really good price. Used in the field with good gameplay.
