JG080 by J.G. Works is an SG 550 AEG replica, reproducing the Swiss rifle with its distinctive profile and side-folding stock. The model is based on the v3 gearbox standard, which simplifies servicing and future upgrades.

Construction and ergonomics

The receiver is made of polymer replicating the design of the original firearm. Components such as the front sight, rear sight, outer barrel, flash hider, RIS rail and bipod are made of metal.
The replica features a side-folding stock with a rubber butt pad, making transport and operation in confined spaces easier. A dual-sided fire selector allows comfortable handling for both right- and left-handed users.
The battery is housed inside the front handguard. A metal folding bipod is mounted in its lower section.

A Picatinny rail included in the set can be mounted on the top of the receiver, allowing the installation of a red dot sight or a rifle scope.

The replica features an individual serial number.

Internal mechanism

The core of the replica is a v3 gearbox equipped with steel gears and a directional piston head.
The model allows muzzle velocity adjustment within approximately ±20 FPS via the spring guide adjustment (the Allen key shown in the photo is not included in the set).
The construction remains compatible with parts dedicated to v3 gearbox-based replicas.
