CM.091, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.091 GEN-2 airsoft gun by CYMA is an AEG rifle based on the AR platform, designed for mid-range gameplay and tactical configurations using a RIS handguard. The model combines a metal receiver and RIS handguard, V2 GEN-2 gearbox with quick spring change system and CYMA MOSFET system, supporting efficient operation of the electrical system.

Construction and design

The CM.091 GEN-2 uses an AR-platform layout with a 10.5" RIS handguard that allows accessories to be mounted. Metal elements include the rifle receiver, RIS handguard, iron sights, mock muzzle brake and control elements.

The SF stock and pistol grip are made of polymer, supporting more comfortable handling while retaining durable external parts in key areas. The airsoft gun has a serial number placed on the left side of the lower receiver.

Ergonomics and handling

The model is equipped with a functional charging handle and bolt catch, which make access to the hop-up adjustment easier. The ambidextrous magazine catch supports handling during reloading.

The battery space is located in the modular SF stock, allowing practical placement of the power source within the construction.

Internal parts and mechanics

The airsoft gun uses a V2 GEN-2 gearbox with a quick spring change system through the spring guide. The mechanism is based on 8 mm ball bearings, standard 18:1 gears and a piston with a full steel rack and aluminum piston head.

The pneumatic system includes an aluminum cylinder head, silent heads, a steel ported cylinder and a 21.0 mm teflon nozzle. The steel bearing spring guide supports stable spring operation during the shooting cycle.

Electronic system

The airsoft gun uses a T-connect plug and a CYMA MOSFET system. The long-type High Torque motor supports the operation of the mechanism.

Performance and precision

The CM.091 GEN-2 is equipped with a 6.03 mm brass inner barrel with a length of 295 mm and a metal rotary hop-up chamber. This setup allows the BB trajectory to be adjusted and supports shot-to-shot consistency at mid-range distances.

The factory muzzle velocity is ~390-400 FPS. The rate of fire of the airsoft gun is specified at 19 RPS.
