The CM.070 Gen 2 airsoft carbine replica by CYMA is based on the AR15 platform and designed for dynamic CQB games as well as short- to medium-range engagements. The replica uses the CYMA ETU system, V2 Gen 2 gearbox with QSC quick spring change system and ambidextrous controls, supporting comfortable handling for both right- and left-handed users.

Construction and design

The CM.070 Gen 2 uses a metal body combined with a polymer pistol grip and SF-type stock. The replica maintains compact dimensions - 785 mm with the stock collapsed and 865 mm with the stock extended - which makes it easier to operate in tight spaces and during dynamic movement.

The carbine is equipped with metal controls, an ambidextrous magazine release and an ambidextrous sling mount located on the rear plate. These features improve handling comfort regardless of the user's dominant hand.

Ergonomics and handling

The SF-type stock offers six-position length adjustment and battery space inside the stock tube. The enlarged trigger guard makes the replica easier to operate when wearing gloves.

Foldable iron sights allow the replica to be used without additional optics. When folded, they do not obstruct the sight picture when using a red dot sight or other optical sights.

The replica is equipped with a functional bolt catch, which helps keep the mock bolt carrier in the rear position, exposing the hop-up chamber and making adjustment easier.

Internal parts and mechanics

The heart of the replica is the V2 Gen 2 gearbox equipped with the QSC quick spring change system. Inside, it uses 8 mm ball bearings, 18:1 gears, a type 0 cylinder, a 21 mm Teflon nozzle and a piston with a full steel rack and aluminum piston head.

The drive is provided by a long-type High Torque motor, while the pneumatic system uses an aluminum cylinder head and a steel ball-bearing spring guide.

Electronic system

The replica is equipped with the CYMA ETU system and a T-connect plug. This enables compatibility with 7.4 V and 11.1 V LiPo batteries.

Performance and precision

The metal rotary hop-up chamber works with a 6.03 mm brass inner barrel with a length of 345 mm. The replica reaches a rate of fire of ~18 RPS, supporting dynamic fire during airsoft games.
