CM.053D Full Steel AK repllica Eshooter ETU [CYMA]

I would give 4/5 rating cause I found some issues with this Aeg that I didn't find in another cyma AKs (CM076A) or the RPK and I expected a bit more QC for a 300€ aeg.

Of course the packaging made by Taiwangun was perfect and arrived punctually.

Regarding the AK itself.

The gearbox sounds good and with the mosfet has a good ROF and single shot.
Cyma made a good job with that for sure.
But we'll see how long it last the mosfet (many years/forever I hope).

The hop up assembly was not properly done. It had a 2 point hop up bucking with the omega pressor for long and accurate shots, but it wasn't installed properly so it had a strange trajectory. The BBs were leaving the barrel on the right and curving also more on the right after a few meters (not affected by wind).

I changed the hop up bucking with the blue fps with the traditional pressor and it performs better, with 0.20 and 0.28 BBs (1 J limit in Italy).
But I noticed that when I aim, I still can see the BBS exiting the barrel more to the right and I found out that the major problem is some sort of misalignment between the front and (especially) the rear sight.
If you use a red dot, you won't notice, but aiming with the iron sights you have to adjust your aim a bit (not such a big problem as with the original hop up, but still a bit annoying). I mean, after changing the hop up bucking, it shoots 10-15 cm to the right from where you aim, but I still can get a torso sized target at max range. So it is an accurate AEG now, but you have to adjust your aim or just use a red dot or scope.

For the externals, the steel looks fantastic, and I love that everything, especially the front, looks sturdy and firm in place. The plastic stock is wobbly (fixed with a spacer) and looks "cheap".
Also I noticed the big pin of the front is made of a weak metal, that gets scratched or signed easily, similar to the previous series of AKs made by cyma, and after taking it out the first time, it comes out too easily.
Another weird aspect: in the picture the AK105 has a flat top cover, mine has the top cover like all the other AKs. (Not a big deal for me but for a purist of the "realism" might be a bad thing).

In general, the premises are wonderful, but the execution has still to be improved.
Monolithic and sturdy steel body with an improved and up to date gearbox, but general assembly and QC to be taken care of.

If you're looking for 1:1 replica of an AK 105(carbine AK74M) look no further, the quality of the replica is superb, the weight,the feel even the sound when you pull the magazine lever is same as the original ! Great rate of fire with 11.1V battery and shoots straight and strong,right out of the box. Make sure you break in your magazine properly though ! I would definitely buy again.
