Construction and design

The MP5K PDW airsoft gun is made of metal and nylon. It weighs ~2750 g without a magazine and measures ~634 mm with the stock extended and ~400 mm with the stock folded.

The folding stock reduces the length of the airsoft gun for transport and facilitates handling in confined spaces. The licensed markings correspond to those found on the firearm counterpart.

An individual serial number is located on the magazine well. The outer barrel features a 14 mm CCW thread for mounting muzzle devices compatible with this standard.

Ergonomics and handling

The compact MP5K PDW layout and folding stock support efficient position changes and convenient handling during dynamic airsoft games. The ~400 mm length with the stock folded facilitates movement in confined spaces, while extending the stock increases the total length to ~634 mm.

The airsoft gun features two sling attachment points. The rear attachment point is located on the stock mount, while the front attachment point is positioned near the handguard and takes the form of a dedicated pin. Their placement allows a sling to be attached at the front and rear of the airsoft gun.

The battery is installed inside the body, eliminating the need for an external battery pouch.

The airsoft gun uses mid-cap magazines with a capacity of 65 BB's. Two magazines are included.

Internal parts and mechanics

The GEN-2 V3 MP5 gearbox features a QSC quick spring change system. Access to the spring guide is gained by removing two pins and detaching the stock base, allowing the spring to be replaced without removing the gearbox from the body.

The internal assembly uses 8 mm steel ball bearings, a piston with full steel teeth, and a steel ball-bearing spring guide.

CNC-machined gears with a 13:1 gear ratio operate in a short-stroke configuration. The mechanism is driven by a long-type hi-torque motor with neodymium magnets.

The pneumatic system includes an aluminum silent head set, a steel type 3 cylinder with a teardrop-shaped port, and a 21.00 mm PTFE nozzle sealed with an O-ring.

Electronic system

The airsoft gun features a Kestrel V3 MOSFET/ETU, which electronically controls the operation of the mechanism. The T-connect plug allows the use of dedicated 7.4 V or 11.1 V LiPo batteries.

Performance and precision

The factory Stock configuration reaches ~330 FPS, while the Low configuration reaches ~300 FPS. The rate of fire is ~28 RPS.

The brass AEG inner barrel has a length of 145 mm and a diameter of 6.03 mm. The polymer hop-up chamber allows the level of BB spin to be adjusted, supporting stable flight and a repeatable trajectory over distance.

Power supply

The battery is installed inside the body of the airsoft gun. The airsoft gun features a T-connect plug and is designed for use with dedicated 7.4 V and 11.1 V LiPo batteries.
